I've actually got a small cold right now. Nothing bad, just a slightly sore throat and a stuffy nose. But the absolute worst is when I'm asleep and I need to puke. It gives me incredibly uncomfortable dreams. Not nightmares, but it's like I know something is wrong, and all I want is to get away from whatever I'm seeing. But I can't, I have to endure until I'm forced out of sleep by bile in my mouth. But I'd much rather be puking and getting it over with then have to put up with those dreams.

One other thing I hate is when I have a fever and get sweaty. Normally if I'm sick I'll just play a video game, but a sweaty palm does not help.

Cock-sacky virus. I have no idea how to spell it, so this will do. I threw up 30 times in one hour, had diarrhea, 105 fever, throat so sore I could not eat, Sneezing and the sniffles, And muscle Cramps that made charlie horses look like nothing.

Don't eat at shady restaurants.

Food poisoning. I was throwing up every ten minutes and ruined three pairs of underwear. After my stomach had been emptied of everything else, I started throwing up some strange yellow goo. No idea what that was.
It's bile. Rather disgusting. Really acid-y.
I would know, spent 4 days in hospital with a bad reaction between gastro and my insulin mixture, hurling that crap up every 2-ish hours, along with the worst headache I had, even my brother couldn't compare his hangovers to it. And on top of that, friggin' IV drips changed every day for a week.

I hate diabetes.
Bile, you say? I thought it was green. And that sounds awful. I can't stand IV drips for a day, let alone a week!

That would be the dreaded "Easter Flu of `03".
Sitting on the toilet with a bucket in front of me playing "double ended volcano" for three days straight...

The smell still haunts me

The time I fucked up my toe so that it was excruciatingly painful every time I tried to move it, then it started spasming for about half an hour.
I'm going to hell for laughing at that arn't I?

One time, I had gotten food posioning from my cafeteria(damn hotdog relish!), and was at home for DAYS. I was so sick, I couldn't even move I felt so heavy with fluids. I basically camped in my living room, and whenever I tried to go up the stairs I would pass out from the amount of pressure in my head and I'd fall down the stairs agian. And my sister told me it was funny when I would fall down the stairs. :/

Well, said sister stayed home with me the entire time. One afternoon she said she was going to watch Ripley's Believe it or not, I told her to piss off and let me sleep so she sat down and watched it. I watched a little with her and it started talking about people who eat bats in the jungle or some shit. It showed a video of the fully cooked furry, bony bat skeleton Vomit went EVERYWHERE, the ceiling, couch, floor, hell even the TV!

Mine would be when I was about 6 I was helping move my mom and I. My grandmother and grandfather were also helping us move and only being 6 my help was rather limited. Well it was a hot day but I wasn't sick when we started but about half way through the move I began to vomit rather violently.

My grandmother made me sit and got me some sprite to drink, but I kept it up, she eventually got a thermometer to check my temp which was about 102. They rushed me to the hospital, where I clinically died, my heart stopped beating and what not.

Well I had apparently had dehydrated rather fast and my body had shut down, but I'm here now and its all good.
I think this here story wins, if you've actually 'died', then I doubt anyone else can do much better and live to post about it.

To be on topic, I've never really been that sick. Having the shits is always crappy (pun definitely intended), it feels like my anal sphincter is burning for some reason.

Next time you have to throw up in the middle of the night you shall have your revenge.

One time I was sick with food poisoning causing diarrhea and was out for a day, the next day I decided to go to drill (US Army reserve). Unfortunately we had a urinalis to check for drugs (everyone came up clean), But by this time I was servilely dehydrated and weakened to the point where I could no longer pee without pooping. So there I was trying to pee without crapping myself and I said "Sargent, I can not pee without pooping I have to sit down" turned around and waddled to stall (with my pants down). I was so tired and weak that I no longer cared about not exposing myself. The Sargent still had to watch me poo (because it was a drug test). He was laughing about it later (though not at the time).

I had what the doctor diagnosed as an upper respiratory infection (it was probably the swine flu from what I understand now) and it was the worst thing I have ever experienced. I had a terrible cough, a raging fever, and my body was aching all over. The only thing I could do was lie in bed and sleep. Whenever I had to roll out of bed, I had to suffer through terrible aches and pains and the horrible fever. I had to deal with this for three days before the symptoms finally died down, but I had to deal with the cough for a few more weeks. I was so glad when it was finally over because I had missed three days of my college classes and nearly fell behind severely. Aye, I'll never forget those three horrid days.
