No fair! I wanna be clinically dead for a bit!
Ah haha... no you don't *serious face*. I actually felt myself incapable of breathing as I 'went out'. When I came to a bit later with medical staff about to crash-cart me, my chest was killing me, my heart was hammering and I was almost literally shitting myself. Not an experience I'd care to repeat, thankee. Next time I die, I'd rather it was permanent (though not anytime soon... I've yet to meet you IRL!! =P )

so does that mean you're a zombie?
Vampire! (So everyone calls me!)

Na. Just got it later on in life. Probably because my ma has it
How bizarre... most of the people I know that have asthma got it when they were kids or as a result of work.

PS - Liking the new avi.
sounds almost like me having an asthma attack all of it minus medical staff and the almost shitting myself

And ye know if you have any messenger program you can talk to me on there right? Ye don't have to wait til i post in the forums.

And really? You're a vampire too?

Apparently there are different stages in life you can get it. I got it at 22 which i believe is the oldest you can be to get it. or was it 24? eh somewhere in the past 2-4 years i got it

and Thanks. I dyed my hair red and wanted to show it off to everyone because I'm in love with it and it gives me +50 charisma and +50 confidence

I have Epilepsy, which has prevented me from driving and also prevented me from joining the United States Navy. I don't have tonic-clonic (i.e. fall over and convulse) seizures, I have what I call "absence" seizures where I cannot speak (or if I can, it's gibberish), have audio hallucinations and get very disoriented. I haven't had one for almost seven months and am close to getting my license, but the decisions I made after finding out I couldn't join the military (something I have wanted and had planned to do all my life) out of high school basically preclude me ever being able to join even if I never have a seizure again.

I broke my jaw like 6 months ago, had to use a jaw lock for 3 weeks, wich means all i could "eat" was soup. After those 3 weeks i had to wear like, a rubber band in my mouth, wich would keep me from opening it completely for another 3 weeks, so i couldnt really eat much real food then either.

I had a stomach Ulcer when I was 13, but I was told that it is fine now, but if I don't eat anything for long periods at a time, I will get stomach drops that make me feel (basically) Like I've been kicked in the balls, except my balls hurt in my stomach. My balls hurt sometimes too if I don't eat. I don't see how that's related, but the way to a man's heart is his "stomach", I keep hearing.

Also: Not a medical condition, but irritating to my life: Last Week I got bit (read: Not Stung) by a bald face hornet on my dominant hand. I'm not allergic, but I couldn't get out of my work for two hours, and I had nothing to put on it, so I had to do firewood with a bee sting on my hand, and I still had to go to work for five hours, cleaning everything... with my dominant hand. Everyday for the week. Yup.

Chafed thighs. Yet another reason to lose weight. -_-

A close runner up would be having a really nasty abscess under my arm, the lancing of which drained me of any will to eat pistachio pudding ever again.

I was born with an incurable, untreatable disease called Epidermolysis Bullosa. Any friction against any part of my skin will result in blisters. Yeah, I can't walk more than about two blocks without becoming completely incapacitated for a week.

Hence, why I'm a nerd.
Why do I get a feeling there are some people here thinking 'I wish I could never leave the house, then I would have an excuse to play video games ALL THE TIME'

Quite a long time ago I got really bad migraines for a few years in a row. They were horrific. They used to last a few days at a time, in which I was in too much pain to do anything except lie in bed with my eyes closed in a dark silent room. Not fun. It felt like the inside of my skull was lined with spikes and squeezing my brain over and over. Glad to have grown out of that problem.

When I got them I always went through this weird series of symptoms before the pain actually came as well. First I got a blind spot right in the middle of my sight, which slowly grew until I was almost blind, then it changed in to tunnel vision and eventually went away. After that I became numb on the left side of my body, starting with my lips and tongue, then the entire left side of my face, before moving down to my left arm and leg. When that went away, the pain begun.

I don't ever wish to experience that ever again and hope no-one I care about ever has to either. It was hell.

Wow, this is gonna sound really poor, but I once tripped over and caught a nerve in my big toe as I fell. It didn't stop bleeding for a good 5 hours, and when I finally got it looked at, I had to have it bandaged up for about 3 weeks, making it tricky as hell to walk anywhere.

I had RCE for about a year
[link]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recurrent_corneal_erosion[/link]

It starts out when you damage your cornea somehow, I did mine while asleep. Then the cornea doesn't heal properly and tears again a few days later. The symptoms are extreme pain and not being able to see out of that eye. Then a few days later it starts to heal, vision returns, and then it tears again . . . On my worst day, the pain was so bad I remember laying there with my eyes closed and just trying not to move my eye. Try it for a bit. It's just about impossible.

The treatment is steroids applied directly to the eye and a kind of slime known as muro 128 that you squirt onto your eye every night to lubricate it.

I would not wish it on my worst enemy.

I broke my arm once. Rather annoying. Also I had bronchitis and could hardly breath; the Canadian winters didn't help much with that.

About 5 or 6 years back, I had a bad skin condition.

And when I mean bad, I mean "carnival freak" bad. The skin on my head got so terribly infected that I couldn't even put my head down on a pillow to sleep, and that for a week.

It's quite amazing how creative you get when you haven't slept for a week due to physical agony.

I can't hear anything with my right ear for the past three days now. had this problem before, and after a week or so it solved itself. So, I guess I'll just have to wait for a while.

I recently just broke my femur in a car accident and now I've been stuck inside my house for like a month and a half and I'm going crazy with boredom. Which is most of the reason why I joined this forum. :)

I've never actually used any messaging programs... I am afflicted with shitbroadbanditis... where I am, it's intermittent at best, so I'm lucky I get to post more than three times in a row without hitch.

Anyway, I'm... vampiric (black clothes - and no, I am not emo, I wear black to accentuate my figure and I make the colour quite stylish, thank you, though it succeeds in making me look creepy at night in poorly lit country roads... >_>... <_<... - *ahem* pale skin and a disdain for sunlight, which used to be a whole lot worse). I used to be heliophobic/photophobic, though it was psychosomatic, but to the extent that sunlight hitting my skin caused me to freak out. Doesn't happen these days, but if I feel sunlight on my skin for too long, I get... irritable and waspish.

And, huh, learn something every day...

Don't forget +50 Charm!

My sister tried dyeing her hair red... not a good idea... we're Chinese so, black hair... dyeing just doesn't work...
