Im not completly sure what it was, something with my ear. It wasn't dangerous but it caused huge, constant, unending throbbing pain that lasted week or two.

Had a sinus infection recently, but for sheer annoyance I'll go with canker sores. Makes eating a minefield.

Lime nail. Had it for years and it's disgusting. Nothing worked, though, so I decided to take the medicine against it half a year ago (I wanted when I was younger, but I was too young back then and the side-effects could've left severe marks on my liver / kidneys). I had no side-effects and it worked, but when the treatment stopped working (you have to take breaks in between treatments, usually 1 treatment is supposed to be enough), it started growing back. Currently on my second treatment. This should finish it, no more shame.

And the annoying part, like I said, is the shame. It's really disgusting to watch really (I'm used to it, but I don't expect others to), and it's repelling. So I'm barely ever bare-feet. Especially with other people around. Even my parents.

Well I could end the thread, but I will just say Pancreatitis. The pain of it is pretty bad but what sends into astronomical levels is the treatment, which consists of starving you, then stepping down to a liquefied diet, and it takes about a week for treatment.

Plus it has the lovely side effect from being a liquid diet for diarrhea to be a given. Which is bad enough, but if you have an IV attached to you is a nightmare.

Eczema's a pain in the ass, that's about it.
I have eczema on my hands and I agree, it is a pain. The sores, the itching, the mini blisters. Arguably the worst part of it for me was the doctor giving me a foam to rub on it that I swear was at least 50% alcohol. Burnt like freaking hellfire. Used that for a week before I just hid it away in my drawer so my mother wouldn't make me use it.

I want to say it's tonsilitis, but I've never had tonsilitis. The thing I get every year around Winter time has identical symptoms, though. I hope it forgets to visit me this year, I don't want to spend all my time in and out of my GP's because they can't figure out what it is.. >.<
Damn man, I was unconscious for a few days with that when I was a kid.

OT: Well numerous things as a kid nearly killed me. That was mildly irritating. All healthy now though. I had nasal pollups for a year. Essentially boiled down to a profusely running nose. For a year.

Now, I have some sort of on/off dust allergy, which is only somewhat better than the pollups. At this point, I'm very angry.

Asthma. It is incredibly annoying. Especially since it is late on-set asthma. Went most of my life without it and have had it for 4 years now. Hard adjustment to make especially when I know what I use to be able to push my body to do and now have to rebuild myself up to that.
...? How did that happen? You weren't working in a naturally fumy place were you? My old man got asthma from working for about six years at Hong Kong Airport as a mechanic (or at least, I think that's how he got it).

Also had some eye infection. Both eyes full with puss, couldn't see for a week.
Similar, only replace 'eyes' with 'ears' and 'see' with 'hear'. I'm still quite deaf in my right ear and partially deaf in my left as a result. For about two weeks, I had pus and crap coming out of both ears and sleeping was a nightmare (pun intended), even more so considering I was six at the time.

Oh, and how could I forget...(!) I was clinically dead for about ten seconds when I was nine...

Well, I was diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asperger%27s] in high school, but I didn't find out until a few months ago when I was released from the hospital. (fat skinny is that it's an autism spectrum disorder that is characterized by significant difficulties in social interaction, along with restricted and repetitive patterns of behavior and interests, among other things) Looking back, it seems that it was very obvious that I've had it for some time and that it should have been diagnosed far sooner than it was.

Does that count?

Worst: gunshot wound.

Most annoying: weeks of migraines resultant from head trauma. Couldn't stand up without passing out.

I was born half blind with a tumor in my optic nerve and no real depth-perception. My other eye had to undergo surgery for a detached retina, all before age 15. Of course, when kids in school hear "tumor" they immediately think "retarded", so I got to grow up with that loveliness.

Other than that I'd have to say having hypothyroidism would be up there on the annoyance scale. Bottom line, I suck at sports

i had pneumonia once. felt like i was i a hellfire, WITHOUT being wrapped in blankets AND having my stupid amounts of heaters around me. i seriously thought i was gonna die of heatstroke or something, day after day i endured it. until eventually i was let out, i can remember the name of the doctor that authorised that torture. i remember his face. voice. name on the spot......may he burn in hell, may he have to go through what i did for an eternity. i didn't want that "treatment" i didn't want so much fuss over me. i just wanted to lay down.

and die.

I once had a huge pimple on my ba**s. It was terrible, I couldn't move.
And I once nearly cut my pinkie finger off. (stupid axe...)

I was born with an incurable, untreatable disease called Epidermolysis Bullosa. Any friction against any part of my skin will result in blisters. Yeah, I can't walk more than about two blocks without becoming completely incapacitated for a week.

Hence, why I'm a nerd.

Ah haha... no you don't *serious face*. I actually felt myself incapable of breathing as I 'went out'. When I came to a bit later with medical staff about to crash-cart me, my chest was killing me, my heart was hammering and I was almost literally shitting myself. Not an experience I'd care to repeat, thankee. Next time I die, I'd rather it was permanent (though not anytime soon... I've yet to meet you IRL!! =P )

so does that mean you're a zombie?
Vampire! (So everyone calls me!)

Na. Just got it later on in life. Probably because my ma has it
How bizarre... most of the people I know that have asthma got it when they were kids or as a result of work.

PS - Liking the new avi.

I get constant muscle cramps, usually Charlie Horses. And it's always while I'm sleeping that I get a Charlie Horse.

Fucking worst wake-up call.
