I have eczema on my hands and I agree, it is a pain. The sores, the itching, the mini blisters. Arguably the worst part of it for me was the doctor giving me a foam to rub on it that I swear was at least 50% alcohol. Burnt like freaking hellfire. Used that for a week before I just hid it away in my drawer so my mother wouldn't make me use it.electric_warrior said:Eczema's a pain in the ass, that's about it.
Damn man, I was unconscious for a few days with that when I was a kid.Innocence said:I want to say it's tonsilitis, but I've never had tonsilitis. The thing I get every year around Winter time has identical symptoms, though. I hope it forgets to visit me this year, I don't want to spend all my time in and out of my GP's because they can't figure out what it is.. >.<
...? How did that happen? You weren't working in a naturally fumy place were you? My old man got asthma from working for about six years at Hong Kong Airport as a mechanic (or at least, I think that's how he got it).aprilmarie said:Asthma. It is incredibly annoying. Especially since it is late on-set asthma. Went most of my life without it and have had it for 4 years now. Hard adjustment to make especially when I know what I use to be able to push my body to do and now have to rebuild myself up to that.
Similar, only replace 'eyes' with 'ears' and 'see' with 'hear'. I'm still quite deaf in my right ear and partially deaf in my left as a result. For about two weeks, I had pus and crap coming out of both ears and sleeping was a nightmare (pun intended), even more so considering I was six at the time.Bloedhoest said:Also had some eye infection. Both eyes full with puss, couldn't see for a week.
No fair! I wanna be clinically dead for a bit!SckizoBoy said:...? How did that happen? You weren't working in a naturally fumy place were you? Oh, and how could I forget...(!) I was clinically dead for about ten seconds when I was nine...
Ah haha... no you don't *serious face*. I actually felt myself incapable of breathing as I 'went out'. When I came to a bit later with medical staff about to crash-cart me, my chest was killing me, my heart was hammering and I was almost literally shitting myself. Not an experience I'd care to repeat, thankee. Next time I die, I'd rather it was permanent (though not anytime soon... I've yet to meet you IRL!! =P )aprilmarie said:No fair! Vampire! (So everyone calls me!)so does that mean you're a zombie?
How bizarre... most of the people I know that have asthma got it when they were kids or as a result of work.Na. Just got it later on in life. Probably because my ma has it
