Everyone seems to freak out with confusion when I say that I hate any and all superhero movies.

Yes, this damn well includes Dark Knight and Iron Man and whatever else appeared in a comic book. Yes, it does. Don't ask, people. I'm tired of explaining it.

lol, yes! Though that film will always be "so bad it's good" in my book.

I lean on White Noise, Alien 3, and Alone in the Dark as some of the worst films I've seen.
Alone in the Dark....

Yeah, just add anything ever spawned by Uwe Boll to the list.

Well, I love it as do a couple of my friends. However most other people I've mentioned it too didn't seem to get the point... Maybe it's just people who live in Edinburgh!

OT I have to add 'Crank' to my 'hate', and 'Evolution' and 'Lost Highway' to the 'ones I strangely like yet nobody else seems to'
I love Lost Highway, as with all of Lynch's work.
It also has one of the greatest comedic scenes in cinematic history;

Borat, a thousand times Borat. I hated that movie and the weird thing was that I was with people who were laughing at it like it was pure genius. It falls into the same pit of comedy movies of trying to hard to be funny, mostly through disgusting and immature means.

On the other hand, a more interesting topic perhaps would be movies that everyone else seems to hate, but I like (oddly), for example:

Screamers
Cabin Fever
Natural Born Killers
Starship Troopers
Grosse Pointe Blank
Everyone except every single person I've ever met and respected, that is. Maybe you just live in a weird part of the country. Or you're hanging out on the wrong movie forums.

My least favourite movies - a small selection in no particular order and for a variety of reasons, save the common one that these four possess - the ability to make me physically hurt myself while watching them:

The Transporter 2
Transformers
Pearl Harbor
Doomsday
Circus
I add The Happening to this list. I've never seen a movie with such bad dialoge, both in terms of its writing and its actual speeking parts, combined with unnecessarily graphic deaths that only serve to bump up it's rating to an R (and that was it's major selling point).

How did Starship Troopers make that list? Everyone I know loves that movie for its overt campiness.
Screamers
Cabin Fever
Natural Born Killers
Starship Troopers
Grosse Pointe Blank[/quote]
I love those movies, anyone that hates them missed the entire point

Rocky Horror Picture Show

Joking, of course. There are very few moments in cinema that can trump coming to the realization that Tim Curry is singing in drag. And damn good at it.

But really, I'd put forth Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li.

Pretty much. I remember one time posting my dislike of superhero movies, and I got over fifteen replies basically consisting of:
-What about ?
or
-Do you really?
or
-Heretic! Blasphemer! Doomsayer! etc.

I really liked Natural Born Killers, Starship Troopers, and Grosse Point Blank

As far as worst movie ever, I have to agree on Pearl Harbor, but then again, I also thought that Saving Private Ryan was 1/4th of the best war movie ever and 3/4ths of the worst Oscar-baiting drivel ever put on the big screen.

Of those movies that I've seen I agree totally on Transfomers, I just thought that went without saying. :)

I liked Cabin Fever too, it was certainly better than Hostel.

Alright first of all I am gonna say I really enjoyed both 2001 and Apocalypse Now, sure they were slow but it built the tension in my book and 2001 was just mind-blowing. Of course this is my opinion.

As for the worst movie I have personally ever seen, well Disaster Movie, it will haunt me until the day I die.

Well, some people are like that. I can totally understand your opinion's basis, as I have friends who hate most super hero movies. Yet at the same time...

Heretic! Blasphemer! Doomsayer! You have cursed our livestock with your Heretical ways! Burn the Witch!

Wow... It's nice to post something that everyone seems to agree with for once :)

Thought of another 'hate', but it's another ridiculously obvious one (hopefully) - Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Some people don't have patience for slow, unfortunately.
