Worst Online Experiences

I've got another one for the list, which came from last time I played.
The worst online experiences (not "bad" worst, but more "annoying" worst) I had recently involve waiting on 'Left 4 Dead' for a match to start. (This point will become a splinter topic), because I invite my friends to join me to play as Infected, and anyone joining immediately leaves because only the human team is left to pick.
I'd like to point out that 'Left 4 Dead's Versus mode has you playing as the team you FIRST picked, then you swap teams to play as the other species. You essentially play through the same chapter twice.
THen there's when people join a game which is all ABOUT communication "Oh, no, here comes a Horde." "Help me, I've been latched by a Smoker"), and the guy is either French or mute.
By the time I can figure out how to say ("Help me, I have a Smoker constricting me." in French, I'll already have been killed.
And there's no point shouting at the mutes, because they can't even hear you without a headset. Which doubly sucks if they firnedly fire upon you and you want to swear at them.

Edit: I have an 11 year old cousin who has, ironically, a much deeper voice and integrity than any of those other miserable little redneck spawn.

I think it's the fact that an older guy just made a joke (we can only hope it was a joke) about masturbating while chatting with a 14-year old boy. The worst was in left 4 dead and I was playing with my roommate and these two huge idiots. I swear neither of them knew what the hell they were doing. I never once used a medkit or pain pills on myself. I saved it for those two because they kept getting ripped up by the horde (most of the time it was their own fault. Startling the witch, getting separated from the group, setting off car alarms ect). At one point we kept dying because they didn't understand the concept of "cover me while I'm on the minigun" so I guess they got frustrated and decided to quit, but not before shooting and killing me and my friend. I wouldn't let it get to me as much if it weren't for the fact that I was covering for those assholes the whole time, and this is how they pay me back. What dicks.

Getting blown to smithereens in EVE for no reason several times. I know its pretty much a free for all but its a real blow when you are a newbie.
