Believe me man, if you were having a cluster headache, you'd take them. It takes weeks to go away otherwise, and during that, it's so painful you will be unable to think of anything other than how painful it is. It's so painful, you can't do anything else.

I might say that having a dinghy crack my leg slowley could have been it... but it was mind numbing, and im not even sure if i felt the pain after a few seconds... just a throbbing numbness.

Tearing a hole in my diaphragm, that was an intense level of pain. I couldn't lie down flat for a month. The sensation of your stomach sliding up into your chest cavity is really painful.

2 years ago my appendix exploded, happens if not treated while inflamed, waited 12 hours in the waiting room then, when I got back there, they mixed up the shots and injected me with pure potassium, went into seizures from it, then went into surgery, went 2 weeks getting 9 shots a night, worst was the catheter. Then 3 weeks later I got an abscess (when you're body sends too many white blood cells and results in like a flood of puss.) The doctor had to open me up right there, in the office, no morphine, while I was awake, then left it open for a month to let it drain. Got off from school for a quarter though
Rather die then do it again. so ya, I win this pain thread.
For those of you who are interested, I was at Emanuel hospital in Turlock, California. Bill totaled to $72,856, but insurance paid for it.

Kidney stone. Ended up in emergency room, but I was able to piss it out normally. Now I have to take a bunch of supplements and a pill that makes me pee more frequently for 4 hours every day.

I took a thrown frying pan to the head when I was about five. 7-8 stitches and a lot of blood.

Only other bad one was when I shattered my right hand in martial arts when I was 14. I blocked a snap kick incorrectly and got my thumb kicked an entire joint into the rest of my hand, shattering every bone behind it. Needless to say, it sucked. Thankfully it completely healed with no permanent damage.
