Oblivion: The motherfucking spells. And the psychic guards who instantly know where you are and what you've done no matter your sneak skill or level of invisibility.
Mass Effect: The main story had a tendency to drag along, feeling unnecessary in places (like where you
and where you
. Still a great game and very enjoyable, it just felt like it had some very unnecessary bits.
Mass Effect 2: The ammo system, planet-mining.
Dragon age Origins + awakening: I can not for the life of me put my fibnger on it, but something bothers me about it.
Baldur's gate 1 + 2: The overhead perspective - why couldn't it be more like NWN or DA:O? Everything else was motherfucking perfect.
Neverwinter nights: It felt...tedious - and yet, I desperately wanted to like it.
KOTOR 1 + 2: Unnecessary bits (or at least I felt so).
Assassin's Creed: The goddamn lepers/beggars/other street obstacle, and to some degree, the combat.
Bioshock: It didn't live up to the frankly MASSIVE hype, it's still a pretty decent game, but sweet jesus people.
Saint's Row 2: Much of the same problem as Bioshock, actually, plus GTA-clones are best suited for the pc in my humble opinion.
Halo 3: ....I dunno...? Some unnecessary bits, but otherwise a solid shooter.
Pure: Short, frustrating when you've been leading for 3 rounds straight and bam! one failed stunt and you're at the back of the pack.
Mirror's Edge: Short, not really a great story.
Dungeons and Dragons: Aside from 3.5 it's either way complicated(1st/2nd ed), broken (3.0) or every class is basically a wizard(4E). In 3.5, warriors are screwed around level 10 and up unless they take a prestige class, monks are seriously overpowered, wizards/sorcerers don't have enough AOE spells, ranger feels kinda useless and rogues are pretty frail.
MGS1 PC: Kinda clunky controls.
Overlord: in retrospect, a lot of it felt really fucking arbitrary and loosely connected.
GTA San Andreas: ...I got nothing, I'll even submit that it might be better than Saint's Row 2.
Most Mario Games: Those fucking pits where your only option is running, jumping, landing on an impossibly small bit of ground and then jumping to the other side. Needless to say, there's been a lot of pit-diving when I play mario...so easy to overshoot.
DOA4: The last boss in story mode, some ridiculously hard combos.
Ninja Gaiden(original xbox): ...Again, I got nothing.
Heroes of Might and Magic 3: Could get pretty stagnant after a while.
Smash Bros. Series: Nothing, it's almost perfect. Worst thing about it is tourneyfags - aka: NO ITEMS, FINAL DESTINATION, FOX ONLY!
Final Fantasy VIII: Drawing magic. Sweet Jesus. Junctioning was cool though.
Hydro Thunder: Some boats handled pretty badly.
...Huh, ended up doing pretty much my whole game library there
