Marth in SSBB...who cares? Also, why have three characters from Starfox with exactly the same final smash?

Also, did anybody ever use Ash, the incredibly gay (literally) unlockable boss in Bare Knuckle 3? I tried him once, and he sucked (No jump attack, his special attack was just his regular attack but in a flurry, no throws, couldn't use weapons...need I go on?).
I'm sorry? Are we in Japan. I don't think we're in Japan. Unless we're in Japan you will call it 'streets of rage 3' you god damn communist.
Streets of Rage 3 was woefully inadequate compared to its japanese counterpart. I'll take japanese dialogue over terrible, plot holed-filled, inconsistent dialogue any day, so I'll call it what I like, you filthy facist.

MewTwo in Smash Bros Melee. As far as I know he has no redeeming features. He's slow, imprecise, incredibly weak and the power of his attacks is only average at best. faster (starting) characters like Fox and Cpt Falcon can literally run rings around him/it.

They don't have the same final smash, they just have very similar final smashes.
No, they're functionally identical. Why couldn't Wolf use his own Ship?

Presumably because the programmers were feeling a tad lazy...

One can only assume they were still high from whatever it was that caused them to come up with Luigi's Final Smash.

Maybe their pasta al funghi had contained the wrong ingredients.

Dr B from Tekken 3. Bastard to play with and somehow annoyingly difficult to beat, since he spends all his time out of range of your best attacks.

Wolf in SSBB, it seemed like a great idea but he wasn't that interesting plus yeah, his final smash didn't leave much to desire!

I'm gonna say Game & Watch at the moment. In Melee, you near kill yourself to unlock EVERYONE, than:
"New Challenger!
GAME AND WATCH!" I nearly threw the controller into the screen.
What was wrong with Mr. GAW, I thought someone you would never see again made a great final secret character! Actually I didn't think much of him but he was very original.

Oddjob a midget? He's supposed to be huge.

Karla from FE7 is a good pick. To get her, you have to force yourself to raise a particular character who is crap to a high enough level to not die in one fight against her (Bartre.) Then you have to wait around until the game is almost over, then bring Bartre into a mission with nothing in it except shops and an arena. Then you take him to the arena and Karla shows up to fight him (for some reason.) Now you have to pray that Karla doesn't critical hit you, which is always a possibility. If your crap axeman DOES manage to avoid death, Karla joins you.

And your reward for all this work? The WORST Swordsmaster in the game. She's not horrible, but the two guys you pick up before her are both easier to get and stronger. She's completely useless, especially considering the amount of work you have to put in to get her.

Also, Namco needs to understand that the only random weapon character who was ever cool was Edgemaster. I just don't CARE about all these other worthless guys. Olcadan, Charade... Why? Really, what's the point? There's already a thing the player can click to select a random character, so what is the point of the random character weapon guys?

Rob and Sonic in SSBB. I would have loved to use either of them, but... yeah.

Also, I'm going to be a dick and mention the worst unlockable weapon: the MP44 in CoD4. What the fuck is up with that thing?

The worst unlockable character ever was Boo in SSB for Gamecube. Seriously, it takes forever to get him and then he doesn't even really work once you have him.

Falco in SSBB, there really is NO reason for him to be in the game. He moves like Fox, attacks like Fox and has the same smash as Fox, he serves NO purpose. At least Wolf plays a little differently.

Has anyone else seen that terrible rip-off of New Super Mario Bros by PETA? It's called Super Chick Sisters and you could unlock Pamela Anderson to play as once you've beaten the game.

At least Charade looks awesome, that, and there's a thrill about not knowing what weapon you'll be forced to use.

(Seriously, Charade's P2 form, AWESOME, IMO.)

As much as I love Mario, Yoshi and co., the worst for me unfortunately goes to unlockable Yoshi in Mario 64.

There were all these rumors at the time that Yoshi may have been a playable unlocked character, but nope, all you get for finding all 120 stars is a sleeping Yoshi on the top of the castle.

Give me a break.

Fox McCloud's father in Star Fox 64.
no powers, no cool ship, it's just Fox with sunglasses and the SAME script.
even when Fox hallucinates and sees him.

The reason for Owl-man, edge master etc. is because they are differently random each match. If you click random, you get a random character that doesn't change during the match. That is the difference, and the reason I didn't like IV, since there was no "Edge-Master" character.
