For originality's sake I'll say the horses in Dynasty Warriors, there is absolutelty no reason to ride them unless it's Red Hare.
I liked the air boat in HL2. Wasn't so fond of the car, or the levels you had to drive it in come to that. If you weren't getting out every 200 yards to gravity-gun wreckage out of your path or chuck sticky bumble-balls into the sea, you were having to use that bloody nitro boost thing that has the inconvenient side-effect of adding a randomiser to the steering wheel.

ANYTHING in Earth Defense Force 2017. Especially the Helicopter that took over 10 seconds to take off.
It's not that I didnt like the car in HL2 Ep.2, it just pissed me off that there wasn't a trunk to put the goddamn gnome in!!!!!!!
I'm going to de-rail this MAKO hate train now. I Actually enjoyed it, I handles like a Halo warthog in the sense that it could do flips and go flying off high cliffs and what not. It was extremly easy to steer aftyer a good 30 seconds of practice, and shooting it is soooooooo easy serioursly this is ture for me. I can easily kill turrent or any creature for that matter while driving it It's not hard.
OT: I hate the Banshee in Halo 3 it just wasn't as fast or monoverable as I would have liked it to be.

That one level in Crysis where you're piloting the troop transport through a series of tornado while fighting off aliens. Sounds cool, looked amazing, but the controls for that thing were some of the worst I've ever encountered in a game. Worst level by far within an otherwise superb game, absolutely horrible. Could have been so much better too!
The MAKO in Mass Effect. I found the driving fine even though it does handle like a drunk person. The main problem was that you couldn't shoot up or down hills.
The HL2 vehicles were fine in my view. Again not the most elegant of thing to drive but I had a lot of fun.

I'd go with the mongoose from Halo 3 simply because of how weak it was.
- It's so easy to destroy, or kill the people on it
- It has no weapons and splattering people hardly works
- It only works well for transport but I'd still go with a warthog

The MiG-17 or F4 Phantom in Ace Combat. They were about as fast and controllable as a brick. I've lost count of how many times I careened into mountains in those things.
Without a 2nd thought - any vehicle from LEGO Indy. How many *minutes* would it take to program "reverse" as a command? If you're not going to let me reverse, at least make it so my motorcycle doesn't have a 300 yard turning radius.
