That's an alternate ending that only unlocks if you've already beaten the game. Kinda like an Easter egg.Crazed_Puppeteer said:I have a bit of a loophole here. I'm going to go with Time Hollow, an adventure game for the DS. I had to look this up on Wikipedia to make sure I had accurate info. Apparently there is an alternate ending to the game if you follow the cat (Sox?) instead of going to dinner. This is the first decision that you make in the game, and being an overly curious gamer, I chose to follow Sox (who wouldn't?). After a few good guesses on the next questions, I was presented with the alternate ending. UPCOMING SPOILERS (albeit, very vague ones).
You yell at a random dude, come back inside, and throw an unconscious girl through a time loopy-thing that's 10,000 ft. in the air. Then the main character says something about never being able to meet someone, and CREDITS! Game time: 10 minutes.
I still have no idea what's going on in the game, but now I don't really care. It was like reading a book that accidentally printed the epilogue where the prologue should have been.
It makes sense if you've played through the game already. Because it focuses on time paradoxes, if you play it again, you, i.e. the player, know what happens, and how the story plays out and how to fix things from the start. Even if it's the first time from the character's perspective.
I thought Time Hollow ends quite well. It's always difficult to wrap up a story about time travel without leaving massive plot holes but it does a decent job.
