Worst video game weapon.

So a while back I saw a poll for the best weapons in video gaming, and I decided to ask the question if energy swords (Halo) gravity guns (Half life) etc are the better weapons of the gmae industry what are the worst weapons?
The weapons that are too hard to use, have too many disadvantages or are just plain not very effective. For me my personal most hated weapon is the teddy bear in Dead Rising. What's yours?

The rocket launcher from HL2 I don't understand the value of a rocket launcher that intentionally goes around the target and lodges itself in a nearby building.

You have to hold the laser pointer on the target for it to work.

Never used the wrench in Bioshock, eh? Give it a whirl with a couple of enhancements, you'll sing a different tune. Also, I'll remind you that the Jedi Knight series employs lightsabers and that you're silly to use anything else in that particular game.

I'll have to say the Biorifle in UT through UT2k4. What a terrible gun.

If that's not bad enough, hammers and golden hammers in Smash Bros. Brawl, because fake ones occur alarmingly often and they tend to inhibit battle much more they enhance it. The way people respond to it it may as well be a great big "don't come near me" sign that stops the fight for a few moments.

I'd have to say Gilgamesh's Excalipoor (Final Fantasy VIII).
He randomly appears, usually when you're painfully aware that you're about to get completely fried by some nasty or other and you relax, confident that he's about to remove that problem.

And then he does 1 damage.

Why did Odin have to die?!

I agree, it is awesome if you actually hit someone with it. But since it has like no ammo and only hits someone of they are standing in front of you without moving

I have said this before... all the weapons in Halo that look like pink super-soakers from Master Chief's local Toymaster.

They don't actually shoot anything, the bad guys just laugh themselves to death when they see him carrying it.

I was always a big fan of the Nagarok from Final Fantasy Tactics. It don't do shit for damage, but everyone becomes a from here on out.

last time I checked Oblivion and Morrowind aren't FPS's

and Ill improve on what crazzee said, a melee weapon in any online FPS (save TF2) since the only way you can kill someone with it is if you sneak up to them which is extremely rare in most cases.

Any weapon you get for Lulu in FFX is utter crap. Pretty much any weapon you get for any magic user in any FF game falls into this category though.

Zodiac from Ratchet & Clank 2. Fukken hated that gun. Not worth the bolt grind.

.32 revolver from Fallout 3. I've never seen a gun quite so useless.

I always hated the Chinese pistol from Fallout 3. I used my fists before I would use the worthless thing. It did almost no damage, and used my 10mm ammo (I was always a fan of the SMG before I got a good Chinese assault rife). Roasting raiders with the special version was really fun, though.

Personally, the only weapon I've ever voluntarily chosen not to use the Casey Bat from Earthbound. I just don't like having an all-or-nothing weapon like that...

I didn't see the point in this gun even being in the game... when you can use the same ammo for the ol' painless or hunting rifle...

The chinese pistol was shit too. Except the special one that set people on fire was fun... for about the first three shots.
