never paid much attention to the voice acting because I just wanted to play the game and yes I skip cut scenes as much as possibleTrezu said:By the end of that game every time a character said something all i would hear was 'Blow Stuff Up'Antonio Torrente said:although I agree that Just Cause 2 has the worst voice acting in a game I ever played. Main Guy "They tell me I'm the best"
Leader woman "Oh yes, I bet you are"
Main Guy "I'm gonna make stuff go bang now"
Leader woman "Yes, do that now please it good."
I was playing the demo, and that's how I remember the exchange at the start. I can't play it again because I find the stilted dialogue and wooden delivery (on a par with any of the under-30's in the Star Wars prequels) too embarrassing to watch again. Damn its unskippability.
EDIT: Oh, and I think her name is Bolo as well. That just reminded me of the Gorilla from The Mighty Boosh, which doesn't help anyone's credibility as a freedom fighter. Although, Gorilla/Guerrilla.. I'm going to abandon this train of thought before it drives me mad.
bahaha yes i was thinking that exact same one!Thedutchjelle said:Jay Franke as JC Denton.

So bad it's good.

That's not actually the actor's fault. Lines are recorded one at a time with little or no context, so it's the director's job to tell the actors how they fit together and the programmer's job to make sure it happens smoothly. I'm betting Oblivion didn't even have a vocal director, so there you go.ilspooner said:The beggars in Oblivion. Why do you change voice between sentences? It makes no sense! Grrr

Would I surprise you even more if I told you that Roger Craig Smith(the voice of Ezio in AC2) is becoming the new voice of Sonic, starting with Sonic Colors??SilverUchiha said:Had to check because I thought that was in a game or something. guess my opinions are pretty much covered here.
I played Just Cause 2. Their voice actors were bad intentionally. It was funny, not irritating. They wanted to make the story like a B action movie. Rico's voice actor isn't bad though. It's actually pretty good. Starkiller on the other hand fails to deliver any believable emotions. They should have found a better voice actor for the second one.Woodsey said:ImprovizoR said:Starkiller from Force Unleashed. God damn that guy can't voice act for shit. Wow.
I thought Sam Witwer was good - along with most of the other voice cast.
Clearly you need to play yourself some Just Cause 2 and Two Worlds.
I guess. Its still really creepy. And wow, thats the first time I have been quoted five times. :OVeret said:That's not actually the actor's fault.
