Chop her dogs head off, leave the body in her bathtub, and nail the head to her bedpost.

Works like a charm.

Dating in middle school is pointless to me, every break up then will seem like the worst. 'Oh now I have nobody to hug in the hallways and tell my secrets too boo hoo" but as you get older the worst way would have to be by not letting them in the bomb shelter as America was going to get attacked.
That's definitely true.

So far, none of my friends' (I'm in grade 11) girlfriends or boyfriends have made it past 3 months; even the 3 month one was a huge stretch to make it last.

So they all come crawling back to me crying... especially when my friend got dumped over facebook, that was bad.

I will have to say the worst way I have ever seen was that one girl handed a piece of folded paper to her soon to be ex-boyfriend. He unfolded the paper to see that it said "I'm breaking up with you"

Me "Sorry, I've been robbed, what's wrong, I didn't mean to shout earlier it's just stressful at the moment, lucky I've you"

Her "I have to break up with you" *hangs up*

That girlfriend was a *****, I took her back, 3 days later, what the hell was I thinking!

EDIT:

Offline message on MSN...that was a sad day for me.
Like that only it was yahoo, and then I later found out she went out with my best friend.

i have a couple my friend dumped his girlfriend on Christmas day over the phone then got back together only to break up in person on New years day.

i dumped a girl on her door step after being shouted at for 30mins for various reasons which were not all my fault while the entire street watched only then for it to some how and most strangely turn in to some sort of mass street brawl between half the people on the street fun times

Indifference is the key to happiness. The confusion will sting them.

Honestly, I think that to the face is one of the worst and here is why.
Face to face:
"Yeah, I think it's best if we are no longer together"
"Oh, okay... so... you want to still hang out? should one of us walk away? I mean I guess I could wait for the next bus, but that doesn't come for an hour..."
*awkward silence*

On the phone:
"Yeah, I think it's best if we are no longer together"
"Oh, okay... well, I guess I'll talk to you later"
*click*
Break ups that casual are one night stands, not relationships. That's the sort of conversation you have in the morning:
"Yeah, I don't want anything serious."
"Nah, me neither."
"Tea?"
Then you carry on talking over a cup of tea because everyone loves tea, if she doesn't like tea you should go to the clinic and find out what you just put yourself in.

Hmmm... The nastiest I've seen was when this chick went up to the guy, through his coat at him, and said something along the lines of "Fuck you, I'm leaving." I saw her crying (makeup running and all) outside really badly afterwards.

...and then they got back together the same day.

I had one girlfriend in highschool who I wasn't able to see and we couldn't talk except by phone, because we lived in different counties. So we talked on the phone a lot and had a lot of phone sex (which was pretty good). One day, she told me she loved me and I said it back and we hung up, like usual. Next day, I call her, no answer. That was six years ago. Haven't heard from her since.
