Im gonna go with a month or 2 ago when huge thunder storm game tho, constant thunder and heavy rain, now I have a metal roof on my house and poor insulation, so this was fucken loud and I had only fallen asleep like an hour before so I spent the next 3 hours being kept up by the rain and thunder and shit only to have insomnia, that was a long day

Wait till it's "We've Only Just Begun" by The Carpenters before saying that.

He didn't, she was just wedged under the car, but for all I knew I was going to find my dog dead and messy when I got down there.

The night after I played Half Life 2 for the first time, I was hearing metallic banging sounds and other things in my head the entire night. Apparently, I never played a game so bleak before.
I woke up after that at 4 in the morning ill, needing to barf and I felt like dying. My mom had to take me to the doctor at daylight.

Christmas morning this year, my little sister came sprinting into my room full speed and jumped on me. That in itself isn't so bad, but what made it terrifying is that I woke up as she was in midair. I've never gone from peacefully sleeping to such a state of shock so quickly.

Then there was that time both my arms went numb while I was sleeping. I woke up and thought I didn't have any arms.

Last night I was woken up by the loudest, most annoying hotel fire alarm in history, an hour after I fell asleep. I had to walk down 10 flights of stairs that smelled like piss, and stand in the 50 degree rain for half an hour in shorts and a tee shirt until the fire department cleared us to go back in. It turned out that there wasn't even a fire.

So Escapist, what's the worst, most annoying way you've ever been woken up?

My best friend's brother came home drunk one night and put shaving cream on top of both my eyes and in my open mouth, so when i opened my eyes to see what was going on the pain was unbearable. I seriously couldnt see for about half a week. At least i think it was shaving cream, it may have been something else, I didnt care what it was when i was running to the bathroom and removing it from my sockets. Although I must say, my eyes have never been cleaner.

Ugh... I have a friend who text messages me at the worst times and for the stupidest reasons. One example is when I received a message stating something along the lines of him getting caught in the rain halfway through his daily walk and entered his house completely soaked and other completely random things like special guests on certain TV shows, the latter of which the TV guide already tells me about.

Anyway, I had my alarm set for 7am for something important I had to go to the next morning and I had just finished watching TV at 11:30pm. I had my VCR set to record two shows, one at 12:30am and one at 2am. I got to sleep at 11:45 or so and then not even fifteen minutes later he messaged me that said this:

Holy shit man i go to sleep for like 30 min It's dark as hell i wake up as the dog howls i open my eyes and There's a face and hands waving at me i jump and turn on the lights and disappes and now i'm freaken out

Because I had just gotten to sleep and that fact that my message alert tone is the tune that plays when you rank up in MW2, I awoke instantly and almost smashed my phone into my VCR trying to pick it up because I managed to cut off half the blood circulation in my arm during the small amount of time I was asleep.

After texting him back, I couldn't get to sleep for the next four hours and ended up watching the two shows I set my VCR for, THEN I managed to get to sleep for two hours and I was very tired the next day. The bastard.

I've also had my 2 year old nephew try and open the door to my room, then my brother opened it and he started hugging and kissing me. ;-;

Anyway, it's not a specific time, and it's not really that bad, but when people wake up in movies and they just open their eyes, that NEVER happens to me. I always jolt awake. You know that feeling in your dream where you're walking and you trip or miss a step or something and jolt awake? Yeah, I wake up like that EVERY DAY. It SUCKS.

i had a friend who was woken up in his cabin at music camp by the entire brass section of our wind symphony as they stormed into his room blaring out sharp G notes varying from trumpets to trombones, baritones, saxophones, the lot ^_^

YEah, I suppose I did, but after the vomit I had to wash my bed and the still drunk best friend. That was the first time I've ever been still drunk and giving another drunkrd a bath and I doubt it'll be the last time.
