Well, can't say i've yet had too much problem from the heavy snow besides sliding, being cold and my mum falling over. However i have to try getting to college tomorrow and im terrified at what could happen. We could end up trapped in Newcastle in which case my fiance is going to end up with a lodger for a bit until busses run again, or the bus can slide and crash. Ok so im paranoid but i can't help that, sadly my mum is alone in the house and worries about me, and since im her carer, being away from home for too long is not a good idea. I don't want to miss college because even if lessons are cancelled we can still do coursework which i urgently need to do but cant do at home.

Having watched the news i know that hundreds of places are being effected really badly so im asking you all, whats the worst your area has had?

EDIT: my mate would like me to say how she was almost late for a job interview due to the traffic and slow driving.

In the past four days, it's snowed around eighty of theose ninty-six hours. We've had lots of snow before, but it's bad out there. The roads are a bit slide-y no matter how much salt there is (my mom almost took out a stop sign because of it), the roads always have at least an inch of snow on them. But, I got a snow day, and overall it could be worse.

Oh god, we got golf ball hail around where I live. And I was out in it the whole time! I probably have dents imprinted on my skull now. (They were pointy, too.)

EDIT: Oh, and there was this one piece that was the size of my fist, maybe bigger. It brushed against my face, scratching my nose. It was scary~ ;_;

It would be effecting me if effecting was a word.

I get your point anyway.

Well, up here in SCOOTLUND it's our worst winter for over 9000 at least 100 years, my establishment of learning is closed for the time being and I am happy.

I'm fine, all interesting weather avoids me anyway. So people if you live in Essex you'll be fine until Sunday.

God i would hate that. I despise hail with a passion. I videoed the hail hitting my window the other day (on my profile under You Tube videos). It wasnt that bed but still, it gives an idea of how bad it can be. Obviously ive seen it worse and heavier but never too big.
