I got snowed out of school today, will probably be the same again tomorrow. I have to walk on the roads because the paths are like sheet ice and the number of close encounters with cars has increased dramaticly.

I just came back inside. I'm wearing shorts, a t-shirt, and I wasn't wearing any shoes.

It is a little cloudy, though. It might rain.

California's great.

It's not so bad on this end. We had days that reached 60 degrees Faranheight in Novemeber and even now we have highs in the high 30s and low 40s. I know that may sound bad when compared with warmer areas, but for a New England area, it's not bad at all and I'm really enjoying it.

Well, it might affect my moving back into my shitty dorm room. If the heaters don't work, we don't get to move back in.

I don't live in a place with bad (daily-life interupting) weather to start with.

Only thing really bad that happened was when it went down to 5 degrees but that was almost 3 weeks ago

It's currently -28 degrees Celsius where I live.

That's... okay. We've had worse.

It keeps snowing here in Darlington.

But.. It's snowing again. What makes it worse is that I have no heating, my rooms cold and I can see my breath in doors.

It's not effecting me much. The train from Darlo to Middlesbrough hasn't been effected so getting to uni on Saturday won't be much of a problem for me. It's just walking around. My shoes aren't the best in the world.

Us northern folk don't come to a standstill when there's a little bit of snow.

I'm fucking snowed in, have been since December 18th.
wow, how you coping with that? thats a long time to be trapped.
It's not too bad. I can go places, it's just the roads are icy and dangerous. On Dec. 18th, a few hundred cars had to be abandoned on the streets.
You aren't anywhere near Buffalo are you? I tried to go on the highway on Dec. 18th but they closed the whole thing. Had to wait until 5:30 Saturday morning to get home.

Over here we've had a tiny bit of sleet. Just before Christmas it snowed for a few hours, probably the best snow we'd had in years... well, the ONLY snow we'd had in years. Though, in my life, over here, I've never seen it snow for longer than 3 days...EVER.

Which sucks, considering we're a tiny little Island between England and France which are both getting snow. In fact, all the other nearby tiny little Islands are getting snow, too.

Down here is Newport Beach, California, it's a cool 70 degrees. It's January and it looks like early September!
