I kind of dislike MW 2, but I absolutely HATE BF 2, I rented it, played some of the campaign, played some multiplayer, and I returned it one day after because it one of the worst games I'd ever played.

If I meant FAMAS I would have said FAMAS not M16 they're both burst fire and I was talking about COD4 which doesn't even have a FAMAS. All of this leads me to believe you didn't actually read the original post but stumbled upon the quoted words out of context through some sort of ancient portal.

mostly the same as others, rent before buy becuase you may not like it, i personnally loved it much more than MW2, especially how easy it is to flank people.

I have never ever heard it called the laser rifle and it is not for lack of time spent on the game. Also every single rifle can basically do that. In fact the the M14 is better at it than the M16. Also the M16 really falls short in close range and is only truly suited to mid range and with practise long range. Even with the long range you are banking on the possibility that the person is good with the weapon. All in all it is not a weapon that needs balancing.

That's probably because you didn't read the original post closely and realize that I'm talking about the first MW game? If you knew this, then you're straight wrong. It grouped with perfect precision on a still shot from any range and if you found it ineffective at close range I'm sorry but this is a problem with you not the gun. One burst kill every time. And this just shows how much they fucked up MW2 when the M16 is considered mediocre.

No I am fairly sure that I am refering to the first game in which it is not overpowered in the slightest. In fact on Normal you need to land all 3 to get the kill that is with Stopping Power. The refire delay after every shot makes it s very ineffective close range weapon and no this is not just me it is the gun. A gun the fires at about double the speed I can by click my mouse is not worth using in close range. So no the weapon does not hold up in close range as by the time you get of 1 bursts if they aren't dead you will be as people don't need more than about a quarter of a second to aim if you are standing nice and still for them.

Every single weapon in the game bar the Snipers is better in close range than the M16 even then if you can quick scope that makes the point about snipers invalid. I think I know what I am talking about especially which game I am talking about I wouldn't even touch that tarnished unbalanced chaotics crap heap(at least in my eyes) called MW2.

I'm sorry but you're simply wrong. Any good player could use the m16 at close range very effectively. Explain why every single player used the m16 in competitive play with the exception of the occasional mp5 or ak74u if it's not unbalanced.

The only changes I wanted from the multiplayer of the first game were to have no more M16 and to make bullets.

Wha...? A gun doesn't make bullets, it shoots them. The M16 is godamnelly good gun, and even better with that perk that does more damage (name, anyone?).

I'll have to admit that the M16 was my favorite weapon in the first Modern Warfare 1. In MW2 I use the ACR, for pretty obvious reasons.

And I believe the term you're looking for is: I wanted the M16 to fire full auto.

I have played BF:BC2 for a few weeks now so I can give you a nice review about the bad sides of BC.

You'll find a lot of people using what has been named the "Noob-Tube" a rocket launcher as their primary weapon and that pisses people off. I don't like it myself but to each his own.

There are a lot of tactics and the game nicely unlocks the class you play but you earn experience too fast.

We'll that's about it.

Em not the M16 is not constantly used in competitive play. I see at least one sniper per team in every competitive play I have ever been in and many people use Ak 47 and M4 and MP5 and Ak 47u. So no it is not the best weapon and also you are going on the assumption that the player is good and used to the weapon. The player being good does not make the weapon good. It is not an unbalanced weapon and does not hold up in close range compared to every other weapon. In fact you seem to have completely ignored all my points. I do have to ask what competitive play have you been in?
