The real question is:

Would Ninja-Pirates survive the Robotic-Alien-Zombie apocolypse?

I think not.

Yes, because they specialize in not being seen. And the #1 way to survive the Zombie Apocalypse is to avoid zombies.
And since Ninjas are good at not being seen, you wouldn't actually know if they'd survived or not.

Haha, we had a whole conversation about this at my dojo a while ago. We were trying to decide which form of martial arts would be most effective against zombie hoards, and one of my senseis decided that Aikido would probably work best. The form mostly concentrates on quick, sharp strikes, and since zombies generally fall apart better than tissue paper, one strike to the neck could take off their heads.

I think you've hit on a good idea here... I'm pretty sure there is no argument that ninja's would easily survive a zombie apocalypse, and now that we have established that fact if the world's governments don't start training regiments of 'anti-zombie' ninjas they wouldn't be doing their jobs properly.

Dr. McNinja totally ended the zombie apocolypse, why is this even a debate?

No one would survive.

The thing you need to think about is that if you are talking about the undead coming back to life and killing innocent people, they have ever increasing numbers. Ninjas and people will continue to die until there is no one left. Even if they were to set up some type of society, as we saw in Land of the Dead (not that it is a great movie, but it makes it's point), that society will, at some point crumble because of the always increasing numbers of zombies.

In order to beat the zombies you would need to stop the dead from transforming when they die, which is impossible. At least that is what movies tell us.

As far as the robots surviving, they would have to become self-aware i.e. Skynet, in order to maintain themselves. Meaning technically, unless machines become self-aware, the zombie will continue to be on the top of the food chain.

Real ninjas? Of course not. Some Japanese farmers from feudal Japan with a sword and a good sneaking ability can't beat instant death bites, deadly scratches, and zombies that can sniff them out from a mile away. Plus, decapitation would leave the head alive, and those ninjas' ankles would be ripe for bites.

Of course, if the robots became self-aware and formed a hivemind, there would be no stopping them. Robots are hardened metal, and a rotting corpse probably can't bite through titanium.

Katana is capable of cutting a tank in half.
It can also cut zombie's head in half. Win.
Calling Bullshit, prove it!

I see you didn't notice that heavy sarcasm.

It's a popular MISconception that a katana can cut through a tank's armor. It can't, of course, but it's a cool idea.

ehhhh, im gonna say yes, because their sword will just go through the zombies and ninjas have very heightened senses.. if its the shambling zombies they they would win because the only reason people gte killed by them, is if one sneaks up on em or hundreds rush them and they run out of ammo, so... ninja sword = infinite ammo = zombie slaying.. FACT

lol

Well again looking at historically accurate ninja....

their weapons are traditionally modified farm tools... they are clans of commoners used as mercs and assassins for one daimyō to wipe out another, or even attempt the life of the shōgun, or really anyone else in the samurai class, or just in general.

they avoided armor, quite often preferred wearing normal every day clothes as to blend in with the common population/grounds keepers of an estate to get closer to their target

they focused on a kill quick and get away...the shurikin was never a killing weapon, it was a distraction weapon to allow them to get away... their houses are loaded with hiding places to avoid raids....

but they are very very well versed in anatomy, and once the knowledge of " aim for the head" became established, it would spread very fast..

then going back to knights, and samurai....though samurai are blessed with much much better maneuverability than a western knight...both are quite well protected from anything a zombie could do...bite, scratch......samurai and knight are both in trouble is heavily swarmed...but both have the luck of weapons to keep things out of range....

personally I've always said in a ZA I stick to my naginata as it serves as two weapons in one, and no need for ammo.
Yes but because they are commoners they may not be 'prepared' for a zombie invasion, don't forget they don't have much discipline, their just swords for hire and historically accurate ninjas may just die of quickly.
It would only be ninjas that have the right mind for the scenario to actually survive, and ninjas that we think of.
I like your thinking, a naginata would be a great weapon!

ya know.... if we go real ninja and not fictional ninja, tough call....

samurai should fare pretty well given the armor, and their focus to be-head a rival in war anyway

big question is what form of zombie are we talking?
We're talking Romero Zombies.

well if we're going realistic ninjas/samurias yeah they really stand a chance.
speed/agiligy/silence and the ability to evicerate everything/

I'm going with... no.

Hiding would be useless against a zombie, seeing isn't their primary sense. Zombies smell. A ninja wouldn't be able to hide or sneak away or anything. Zombies would smell them. Not to mention, most ninja weapons (throwing stars, etc.) are more geared towards stopping power instead of killing. A throwing star would stop a human, but zombies are much more... hardy. A zombie wouldn't stop because it got hurt, it would just plow through the pain. Besides, I don't believe a katana would be practical in a zombie apocalypse.
