If you met Yahtzee Croshaw, say, through a friend, would you get on with him? Do you think he'd be the sort of bloke you'd enjoy talking to? Would it make any difference if he wasn't famous?

I think it'd be interesting, and I'd keep in contact but i wouldn't talk to him much...only on the odd accasion.
What about you?

He's a nice enough guy, I just don't like humans.
So no. I wouldn't be friends with him.
And I am easy to forget, so he'd forget meeting me.

I think he isn't like he seems in his videos all the time just like most people so I would get on with him I guess.

Probably not. Seeing as I'm 16, and he's like 25 or something. It would just be awkward.

I have no Idea. We are both originally Brittish so that might help. Also I have a cool hat.

Nope.

We just don't share much of the same taste in games...Aside from both of us thinking that Saint's Row 2 was the best game of 2008.

I would like to think so. But don't forget I'm a fan of ZP and Yahtzee gets a little wierded out by his fans.

Maybe, but that's pretty much his call, isn't it?

None of us can say with any certainty, though; he's never met any of us, and we've never met him either, so it's impossible to tell if things would go one way or another.

I actually live in Brisbane, and have met him once at a small thing called 'Game On', a festival held by the Brisbane library (from memory) to celebrate gaming.

He was pretty approachable, and seemed to be a pretty cool guy; however he never dropped his ZP persona so I?m not sure what he would be actually like if you ran into him at Macca's for example. Still, I get the impression he wouldn't make a great close friend, but rather an awesome acquaintance/mate.

He'd be the kind of guy I?d love to go out to the arcade with or go and have a beer, but not the sort of fellow I?d want to live with or discuss personal issues. Does that make sense?

Still I'd like to say now; he is as funny improv as he is on his show.

How would I have any idea about that? I am only familiar with his public persona, and the relationship between that and his personal one may very well be like that of Tiger Woods for all I know.

I doubt it, as funny as he is, I doubt he would be my kind of friend

Yes.

Im a likeable enough person, i see no reason why not. Unless he has enough friends and really just tells all the twats who try to get all buddy buddy to f' off and why you are at it go shove this pickle down your eye socket.

Although im sure what he would say would be far more entertaining and done with more "gusto."

Then again i'm sure its difficult to become friends with someone who is a fan of something you create... sort of like that creepy girl across the classroom always staring at you, and drawing pictures of you and her with a house and kids, and writing you notes that you try to be nice and pretend you never read because if you actually told her you read it and found her to be a creepy stalker that would inevitably cause her to have a mental breakdown and then you wake up one night and shes there... staring at you... with a cold glare... with a knife... and her picture... and then she says "We'll be together forever" before you wake up and realize it was a dream but now you are even more creeped out by her than before.

Thats how i find fans.

Fortunatley, Yahtzee jsut thinks we ar whiny dipshits who will never ever be grateful for any concession made for us. :)

I'd try, seems more like my kind of friend, playing games and shooting the shit. I'm not really one of those "hey, I have a problem, help me" kind of people. So I'd probably get on quite well with dear old Yahtz

Well, looking at his humor in his videos and his personality in his interviews, I think I might get along with him well enough.

Well, I like his cynic manners, but I don't think we'd be friends, because A)I'm a fan, B)He seems like the guy who easily gets bored by certain people (me), and C) He's 10 years older than me.
