Would you believe a zombie if you saw one?

This may sound silly, but I actually believe a zombie can exist. Extremely unlikely, sure, but out of all the supernatural horrors a zombie (or something very similar) would be the most likely to become real.

Anyway, I would keep my distance and make sure I had an escape route, but I wouldn't run yet. I'd check to see how it acted first. If it's headed towards another person I'd watch to see what happened (and I'd warn the person... maybe). If it's headed towards me I'd slowly back up and see how it reacted. As a final measure I might point behind it and shout something like "Holy shit, lady, put your bra back on!" If it THAT didn't make it turn it's head away, this things is officially a zombie and I'd haul it. Or grab something with plenty of reach and bash it's head in.

I'd keep an eye on the bugger from across the street to make sure he doesn't come after me if he is a zombie. Luckily, I carry my grandfather's pocket knife almost everywhere when I leave the house (except for school because that's just stupid).

For all we know if a person were to somehow mutate into a super zombie we would be technically boned.

Besides watch all the ideas for a zombie.
a being with no flesh and the urge to eat human flesh.

But if I were to see a zombie I would just kill it at the spot.

but the thing is..no matter how many things you do in life that makes you tough would you really fight against a zombie?the sight of a human being thats dead just walking towards you.Moaning and groaning wanting to eat even though it has no reason too.

Here is the zombie test that I have created in order to verify zombie status:

I carry a folding knife with me wherever I go. If I saw a "zombie" I would walk in front of it (just out of it's reach), and pull my knife out threateningly. If the zombie was to jump back and go "holy shit, what the fuck man?!" then it is not a zombie. If the zombie proceeded toward me, then it is a zombie, and I stab it in the face before racing home to barricade my house, get my guns, and put all my my supplies in my car.

If you are barricaded in your house, what good are your supplies in your car?
I would throw a disabled person at them and see if they get eaten. Not nice i know but one can never be too careful or nice in case of zombies. Oh and if not disabled person is available, i'll throw a really fat guy (they aren't too hard to come by round here XD)
Then if they get eaten i leg it home, load my gun, barricade the house and phone for a chopper to pick me up so i can fight them with the Army.

Barricade my home.
Avoid all contact with infected individuals.
Await for official instructions.

If the man looked as f'd up as a zombie should look, then I would stay cautious. I would probably call out to ask if the man was okay, and if he didn't respond, I'd be weary. I'd warn him that if he came any closer, I would be forced to defend myself, and then, hopefully land a strike on him, zombie or not.

I'd probably just avoid said "zombie." If it came toward me though, I'd grab the nearest garbage can lid as a shield and run for the nearest place with ammo. Then I'd probably call mum and tell her to ready the shotgun for the zombie invasion.

I think if it really was a zombie, there would be a lot of things to pick up, maybe half its face has melted off? its eyes are glazed and scratched, there's blood and human flesh around its mouth. If it has these things, it could be a cosplayer, rather than just a drunk, which is when you ask "Hey, nice costume man."

If they groan and stumble towards you, raising their arms and giving off an unholy stench, you kick them in the balls just to make sure it really isn't your average cosplayer.

I would offer him a beer, he is still a human so he shouldn't be degraded, he should also have the right to vote.

Once you are dead, under the law, you are no longer human, you are property.

Of course, fast zombies (ie infected people) are still alive, and therefore the right to vote still applies to them (so long as they have citizenship).
