I would. Because if its only 19 people you could see for years it would still be more fun then staying on earth. Its not how many people that you have that determins how much fun that you have its what you do with said people. I ve gone months on a small job site in the middle of bumfuck alaska where you only see 15 people for 3 month on end and you know what it was quite enjoyable, you had a freedom there that only few people get to experence, and you gain a true comradery over the experience. The chance for true freedom and the chance for the knowledge that you could acquire, it would be something that i could pass up. and also think about it more people would come with time so the most you could stay by yourself was 5-6 years. its sounds like a paradise already. Lets not forget playing god; to be able to reshape a world.Acidwell said:This seems a bad idea.
Its you and 19 other people according to that article. You would go insane if all you saw for the rest of your life was the same 19 people. Also there is no way it would be a fresh start away from all of humanities divides because you would still be humans with all your personal baggage. On top of that, in the interest of fairness and balance, it would be the most diverse group possible. Therefore the 19 others would more than likely have nothing in common at all with you making being with them for the rest of your life even worse
And no UN, if you going to make out on a new world than i dont want the fucking UN running it. Id rather have it be run be the scientists then pencil pushers.
