No, I would not. I wouldn't be able to stand the thought of it. You look down at your plate and you see the meat before you. all you'd be able to think about that this was once a human; an intelligent, living, human. This person once had dreams and wishes. This person was once a member of society. And now you've reduced them to a pile of flesh. How could I eat that, understanding what it is, and what it represents? What reason is there to do so? To say I did it? Why would I want to be proud of consuming another human? There's no benefit to be gained from it. You prove nothing by doing so. It's just a huge waste of life and I can't imagine myself ever enjoying such a disgusting meal.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not opposed to the consumption of other meats. It's just the idea of consuming another sapient creature sickens me.

Normally, I'd say I wouldn't know until faced with that choice, but part of me wants to see what human tastes like, so why not?
I'm pretty sure most people would if it was a choice between cannabalism and starvation. Starvation is a horrible, painful way to die. People's morals tend to go out the window on the brink of death.
Perhaps, we all have eaten human meat, without knowing? Color it, bag it, and it looks as average as every other type. One may eat and never find out. I think there was a scandal recently.

I think I'd prefer death. But if it was death by starvation, can't really say since I haven't experienced it.
My gf says she has a phobia of cannabalism, which isn't really a phobia because it's a rational fear. She thinks I'm going to eat her or something.

In the starving situation, of course I would. I mean, I wouldn't kill but if they were already dead I would eat them and continue a search for civilization. Gives their death more meaning, IMO, if it helped someone else live from it. If I was the one dead and my carcass being consumed or not meant the difference between life or death of someone else I would want them to eat me. Even if its someone I don't like, I'm not using my body anymore.
If I was not in an 'eat this or die' type of situation I think I would probably pass. Not because the idea of eating human grosses me out, more on a moral value of 'there is no reason to be eating this person, I would rather respect the dead' type deal.
If we strip away the moral value of the question and were to consider it as another type of meat on a menu that somehow never used to be a person with sentience then I would definitely give it a try. That could never happen though.
