After I watched Sweeney Todd with my girlfriend (One of the best musicals I've ever seen btw), we had a discussion about whether we would eat human or not. Personally, I would give it a try. I was thinking maybe if they volunteered to be eaten after they died and someone cooked them up nice, seasoned and breaded and everything. I'm just curious. She says its revolting. Would you try human if the chance presented itself?
i dont think i would.

also, considering i saw the movie your avatar is from today, let me think of a witty retort.

EDIT: ok, i got one:

"Eating human? That sounds like it would hurt my gullivers." The retort has been said.

Well played droogie, a round of moloko plus to wash it down would be quite horrorshow.

Gross, no!! Human meat is bitter and stringy. It is a texture thing. We have evolved to taste terrible. I would rather eat Monarch Butterflies first.

We evolved to taste terrible?

Yet no other animal decided to evolve that...

Edit: Much more likely we evolved to think that human tastes bad for survival.

No i wouldn't not even as a last resort. I find the thought of Cannibalism very disturbing.

Monarch Butterflies. They sequester latex in their tissues. There are also things that are poisonous when you eat them(Monarch Butterflies actually are one species).

Hell no, there's a few good reasons:

- Humans taste horrible, it's a fact, that's why we've never really been high up of the pray list. Well that and were breed from pure win...

- You can develop Creutzfeldt?Jakob disease (or kuru) which is basically human Mad Cow disease, caused by mutant rogue protein, also can be triggered by eating brains. Cooking will not get rid of the protein...

If they were poisonous it'd be kind of pointless to also taste bad. The person who'll be tasting will be dead anyway.

Hell ya! Nothing is better than the sweetest meat of all! Right now I'm eating the flesh of Jake, my neighbor. I mean, is this even a question? Everyone eats human. It's freakish not to!

Ehhh, I guess. Not on a whim, and I wouldn't support it, but if it was something like the liver of a dead serial killer, served at a dinner, I would try it.

I couldn't eat an innocent man's dead corpse unless I needed to for health reasons.
