So this is the situation someone has killed your mother and father(who you,for the sake of this thread, love) in front of you but he hasn't seen you,he leaves his gun on the table and you can easily pick it up and shoot him so what will you do?There isn't enough time to call the police but you can try to run, maybe take the gun and run, maybe just cripple him with a gun or you won't ''go down to his level'' and be like him?

So the main thing is to kill or to not be like him?

I would kill the asshole he killed my family,f**k that don't go to his level crap my law is an eye for an eye a tooth for a tooth.

"An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind".
I wouldn't kill the murderer. I may pick up the gun and remove his ability to flee, then call the police. Or I may hold him at gunpoint, and call the police/whatever.
But I wouldn't kill him.

Kill him without question. Make him suffer before finally putting one in his head... Seeing if there is still a bullet left after having a little fun.

whack him in the head with the butt of the gun to knock him out so the cops can throw him in jail for double homicide. but I wouldn't really lose any sleep if I accidentally killed him.

also I would laugh at him for being so retarded he puts his gun on the table in an unfamiliar house without even clearing the fucking room.

Cripple him, shoot out his knee perhaps. Then run, barring the door behind me until the cops arrive.

One person shouldn't have the right to decide whether someone lives or dies. That thinking is what hypothetically killed your hypothetical parents.

Kill. I don't think that would require thought...and now that I think about it, my conclusion is the same.

How would someone without their eyes successfully take my eyes?

Edit: Probably kill. It is not like he is going to give up his ways and find the cure for cancer :p

I wouldn't waste a second in ending his miserable life. I understand some people really truly believe that killing is wrong, even under these circumstances. It's just sad that they don't understand: Not resorting to violence doesn't make you a better person, it makes you weak, because now your just a helpless victim to the many people who will cause violence.
That's my opinion anyways. I'd kill that man and I'd probably feel great about it too. I avenged my family and most likely saved my own life in the process, as well as punished an obviously evil man. There's no way to lose if you just shoot him.

"What was done to me was monsterous, and they created a monster."

I'd put one in his leg, get point blank, and empty the gun into his head. If he has a spare clip on him, so much the better for me, so much the worse for whoever has to identify his corpse.

See...killing is too easy.

I'm pretty sure it would go down as self defense if you killed him (provided you don't tell the cops that he was unarmed and possibly waiting for your decision) but what would it be worse? Him to live in jail with a bum leg or a bullet in his face? Considering that I'm not religious I can't say he'll get his punishment up or down. So cripple him and call the cops. Maybe kick him around a bit. Just try to make the rest of his life so miserable he'll wish for death.

If someone tries to kill me or a friend/family member for no logical reason then their life automatically becomes worth less than mine if not nothing So therefore I would kill them.

being a LOOSE pacifist, i'd just shoot him in the legs to stop him from running away, or just cripple him somehow, but 100% wouldn't kill him.

I don't think you quite got the saying/meaning of it >.>
They take an eye, you take an eye, someone else takes an eye, and so on, until everyone is out of eyes.
There are generally other people who are more than willing to step up and take an eye from someone for doing it to someone else.
Kinda like that WW1 comic, with all of the countries/characters lining up to start a fight if the country before does something to the one before, etc.

I'll likely shooting him in the leg, stop him from fleeing and not geting away, then have my fun.
If this guy's hypothectically (spelt wrong likely) killed my parent's then I feel it is a fact that he should suffer for it. greatly.

Cripple him with a shot to the knee and call the cops. Decades in jail is much crueler than a quick death.

Aim for the base of his spine.
One bullet for each shoulder.
A bullet through each hand.
Shoot his knees for good measure.
Gag him.
Hide him in the trunk of my car and place a heavy object on him, like a heavy wooden trunk (yo dawg, i heard you like trunks...) before the police arrive.
Tell the police that the killer got away.
Open the trunk, feed him dog food.
Keep him alive indefinitely.
Have him talk about his family, his children, their favorite songs, their favorite foods...
Go to his house, befriend his family.
Tell him about how his family and I are becoming fast friends.
Find out about his parents from his family.
Become friends with his parents.
Tell him about how his parents are doing.
Answer calls from his family and parents in front of him.

I could go on for ages, but I'd run out of room.
