I would most definitely kill him. I hate to sound like a bad person and in a perfect world I could forgive him and we'd become best of friends because really he was just misunderstood. But in the real world I would grab that gun as quick as I could and most likely make him suffer terribly before I killed him. That being said I would turn myself in and take any punishment that is thrown at me because in my eyes it would be worth it. Reading that I sound like a real psycho hehe but keep in mind this is only in the face of such an extreme situation.

OP: i would shoot him in the arms and legs and then call the police. then after hes suffered his time in prison (as long as he doesnt have a life sentence) then i will kill him as he walks out of the door.

So this is the situation someone has killed your mother and father(who you,for the sake of this thread,love) in front of you but he hasn't seen you,he leaves his gun on the table and you can easily pick it up and shoot him so what will you do?There isn't enough time to call the police but you can try to run,maybe take the gun and run,maybe just cripple him with a gun or you won't ''go down to his level'' and be like him?

So the main thing is to kill or to not be like him?

As for me? I'll shoot the killer, but non-fatally. I'd actually want to hurt the bastard more than I'd want to kill them. Because then they'd suffer. (kneecaps, anyone? Sure, I'd probably have to shoot them once to stop them, then again in the kneecaps once they're still, but meh)

But probably not anything to Paksenarrion's level. That's too far for me. (though have you considered feeding this hypothetical person their own legs once you've paralysed them?)
