Would you rather travel with The Doctor in the Tardis, or travel with Spock on The Enterprise?

I'd travel with the doctor. All of time and space? Sweeeeet. Also it would mean I could go back in time and video the big bang happening just as a massive in-your-face to creationists. Or get evidence for evolution <3.
Also its kinda implied that the stuff they get up to between episodes is much more relaxing (and therefore not good tv.) I think just chilling on the tardis would be fun, it has a swimming pool and a library and I bet that some of the books in that library would be rather... interesting.

Also, can people stop writing 'defiantly' instead of 'definately' please. I know they're similar but it makes you sound like you think you're some kind of daring rebel fighting against the norm rather than just somebody who is sure of what they're saying.

The Enterprise.

I imagine, in reality, the psychological effects of having even the most basic control over time travel would eventually turn anyone into a sociopath.

Edit: Wait, I just realized if I were to join the crew of the enterprise, I'd probably be a redshirt. Can I just stay at home instead?

Does this need to be a question? The word is "Doctor" and it is always the answer >_>

Only shame would be that he doesn't actually do requests as to where to go in time and space other than the first time you hop on board with him 'cause i can think of a few places in Earth's own history i'd want to check out first before leaping ahoy to the fifth moon of Glorbak or whatever.

are these the only 2 options?

cause one i i know nothing of and seen no reason to muster enough 'caring' to look and the the other would be boring, with 3 guys having all the fun and/or me dieing to to the color of my shirt

Being a normal person with the Doctor.

Being a normal person on the Enterprise.

I'd go with the Doctor.

The Doctor, for sure. The tenth doctor preferably, but the eleventh will do just find as well.

The Doctor.

While I know allot of horrific things happen on the show, it's sure to be an exciting time with a brilliant person around to solve every problem.

The Doctor, no contest.
Only in his off air time though, 'cause he only seems to get into trouble when the cameras are rolling.

Seems to me like the Doctor would be more fun to travel with, trips to the Planet of Complimentary Hookers and such. Whereas Spock would be all logical all the time.

Saying that, I do prefer Star Trek to Doctor Who.

Whilst Spock would be fairly cool (He's no Jean-Luc Motherfucking Picard though), I think the Doctor wins for the reason of "Why be limited to just space?". Sure, going that planet with those really cool ruins is nice but how about also being able to go back to the time when those ruins were still standing a civilization inhabiting them? That would be awesome! It could be scary and life-threatening but that's part of being the Doctor's companion, the adventure into the unknown.

it,s actually a space/time travel machine disguised a police box (it,s huge on the inside)
I would say the TARDIS we can travel in both time and space.
If I remember right it's not that it just looks like a Police Box, no that's just silly. What happens is when it's landing the computer scans the surrounding area in it's entirety, cross references it with the known location and point in time, determines what would be the best and most unnoticeable disguise...and then it turns into a 1960's London police box.

-edit-
Oh right. I want to roll with the Doctor, some of his adventures may be pants shittingly scary when not protected by the safety of the fourth wall but it would be sooo worth it.

The Doctor. Why is this even a question?

Star Trek is super boring to me. I don't even recall what Spock is like, besides boring. And instant travel through space-time is a lot better than traditional travel through space.

I'm leaning towards doctor cuz time AND space travel and I'm not really familiar with star trek. The doctor also seems like much more fun to be around than that human calculator. But than again, how is spock's crew turnover rate? Because statistics show that the second you step into the tardis, your life expectancy pretty much halves.
Seriously, he gets so serious whenever his companions get kidnapped or whatever but apparently he can't be bothered in the slighest to protect them from trouble in the first place.

Spock would tell you not to touch things. Hell he wouldn't even taking you there in the first place by choice. He would give a big speak about changing events.

The Doctor for me. 9th please.

I'll let the Time Lord Rock band Chameleon Circuit answer this question for me.
