An infinite amount of cash.
They can't subtract infinite by one, so I'd be safe.

*thinks*Alright, time to read the comments and then post.*reads*

Well, you can, you know, change it
I think you missed the point of run out. Here I'll help, even after 'changing it,' eventually there will be no more material with which to make the paper thread out of.

Ok, perhaps the mathematical loophole was a bit obvious, so I'll re-define the question and expand on it a little.

1. Basically, it's one digit less. Not anything to the ^1 power (even though that was quite clever)
2. So all of you are saying these astronomical sums, but here's some additional details. First of all, the money that will be given to you will be ALL in cash. Secondly, think about the bounty: a high enough one means you'll no longer be able to go out in public undisguised, and at a price maybe anyone you hire/train/trade/etc. to help your basic needs might betray you for the money. Would you still take that bounty?

I'd rather not take the risk...

...but if they were to put a
on my head, then it might be more acceptable.

Sorry, I couldn't resist when I spotted the threat title...

Yay for the very weird properties of infinity and how it lets you get away scott free!

About ?1000, I guess. High enough to make a serious difference for me, but too little for anyone to risk jailtime over.

Because they can really give you an infinite amount of cash to begin with.

Hell, for £500,000,000 they could cover me in mashed-up Bounty and let TaTu and Amy Lee lick me clean.

Well, actually, for £500,000,000^0 they could do that, but for £500,000,000^1 they could do it on camera.

Shouldnt the expression be x*(1*10^n)/10??

Where x is a digit Eg: 4
Where n is 1*10 to the power of n is the number of "zeros" Eg: 1*10^5= 1,000,000
And the divide 10 is for the rules set by OP

So the original expression for the original money would be:

x*(1*10^n)
4*(1*10^5) = 4,000,000

And then the bounty would be:

x*(1*10^n)/10
4*(1*10^5)/10 = 400,000

Sorry, just that bothered me.

Except there is not an infinite amount of cash, so you're SOL.
The "organization" have to keep their promise, so they go and take over a money-printing factory.
You know, the legal ones.

Then I would have infinite money (basically)
But by your logic, they could easily subtract one from that amount, rendering you affirmation that you would be safe inaccurate.

Forget the "infinite" cash technicality. Just aske for enough to cause the company to become bankrupt. Then they have nothing to fund the bounty with.
