Well the correct answer is "Yes". Just to let everyone know.

That is to say, it's both the socially correct answer (at least I'm pretty sure it is) and I personally think it should just be the correct answer. To say that I'm not going to enjoy a day that I normally enjoy spending with family and friends just because of a lack of a few physical presents seems a bit silly.
I mean, one should always try and enjoy every day of one's life. Why waste away your life not enjoying it?

Well I'm 20 now. Very hard to shop for. So I could totally live without the presents. I'm all for family n such. But at times..... the holidays just drive me insane cause of the gifts. Others are very hard to shop for too. It's not like I'm or others are 10 years old and I can just get them some toys.

The point of Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Christ. This has become traditionally conflated by celebration with family and the giving of gifts. If we took away the tradition it would have the same effect on me as it did to the Whos down in Whoville.
Yes I would. Christmas has always been more than presents for me. Speaking as a Christian, it's a time to recognize the birth of Jesus (yes, I know the real birth date was most likely in the spring). On a more secular note, It's a time to appreciate humanity's virtues and to spend time with those you love.
Well considering Christmas as it is for my family is, wake up, give a few presents and then it's a normal day, i don't think i would really care.
I'd rather there not be presents and decorations and all that. The meaning of holidays tends to get lost in whatever aspect of greed is attached, which is horrible. These days would actually mean something if there was no material reward for observing them.
Of course. I actually stopped asking for presents after I was an absolute dick one year for getting a clarinet instead of a PS2. I've never forgiven myself for being such a prick, and I don't intend to. Any gift that I receive is coming from my family's heart, not from a list.
Honestly... no, I wouldn't. And not because I'm all pumped about getting things, or because I have great ideas for what I'm going to get anyone else. It's because presents are part of the holiday ritual. I'd feel like something was horribly wrong if I had a Christmas with no presents involved. I'd feel the same way about a Christmas with no tree, or no carols, or no awkward conversations with my senile older relatives. It just wouldn't be right. And that's supposed to be the promise of Christmas: that no matter what goes wrong throughout the year, for one day everything is just... the way it's supposed to be. Maybe not the way you wanted it, but the way it's supposed to be.
I get to see all the family members I don't usually get to during the rest of the year. With one side of the family I don't even get presents anymore, its more about all getting together and having a good time, usually watching shitty movies with my cousins and laughing it up. So honestly while presents can be fun, I actually have the money to buy the stuff I want now anyway so its more of a chance to spend time with family.
I would still enjoy Christmas, yes. But not nearly to the extent that I do with presents. Its awesome to get together with your family, have an great dinner, watch Christmas movies and listen to holiday songs. Its just a really good feeling. Normally I'm a stubborn asshole, but Christmas makes my heart grow 3X.
I enjoy getting together with my family, regardless of the occasion, so I wouldn't mind not receiving presents for Christmas. I get what I want on my own eventually.
Well no, then there wouldn't really be anything to it. It'd be like looking forward to good friday. We don't really do much family stuff for it over here.

honestly i could not receive a damn thing this year beyond being with friends/family and giving my friends/family their presents and it wouldn't bug me one bit.
I wouldn't enjoy it as much, not because I wouldn't get anything, but because the spirit of gift-giving would be taken away from Christmas.
Yes. I haven't had presents for X-mas in like, 3 years. I still buy presents but I don't receive them, at least not from family. I am fine with that. I am happy to just get together and have some good food.
