Would you throw yourself on a grenade?

I'm not sure, I think I would jump on the grenade.

There's a city that's a 2 or 3 hour drive away from where I live that has a monument dedicated to a WWII soldier who jumped on a live grenade to save his team mates. His team was inside a bunker, when some one threw a grenade in the room. Without hesitating, he jumped on the grenade, and was killed by the blast. His team mates however survived.

I'd probably stand there, going "oh shit oh shit oh shit" and die. Assuming I had an infinite amount of time to consider, and get past the panic, I'd probably end up jumping on it. Can't really think of a better way to die.

Also, if the nade wouldn't go off, I'd be a badass.

No, none of you would jump on the grenade to save some strangers. It's easy to pretend and convince yourself that you're heroic and completely selfless enough to do that, but if you were actually in that situation, you'd more than likely freak out, crap yourself, and die with everyone else.

Not to mention that jumping on the grenade would be a completely stupid thing to do in the first place. If the window is big enough for you to climb out of, it's big enough for you to throw the grenade out.

Hub, buddy, what if there are no windows? what if you are a Sim and were placed in the room and had the exits removed? forced to sleep in your own blue liquid for the rest of your life, would you choose the grenade?

What does it matter? If there are no windows or doors, the reaper can't come in, right?

Since all roads lead to death I would sit down and meditate on how futile an effort it would be to do anything at the moment. Window = dead, grenade = dead, you jump out only to have the others throw the grenade at you and you jump on the grenade only to alarm them until they do something useful.

Anyways has anyone noticed how stupid the world has become cause its ridiculous.

Umm, if the grenade is close enough to kill three people I doubt diving on it would lessen anything. To tell you the truth probably not. If someone had a gun pointed at someone else than I might jump in front, but not a grenade. Its one of those things where they need to move by themselves and not rely on me. This reminds me of that movie "the killing room"
