A: Yes because whatever layed the egg the chicken hatched from was not a chicken but rather its nearest evolutionary predeccesor, so the egg was from Whatever that was and is thus a Whatever that was egg. YAY DARWINISM!!!
A: Because there were no chicken eggs before that first chicken because there were no chickens to lay them, there were however, intermediate species there to give birth to chickens.
