I'm taking over this thread in the name of Dragonball Z fans.

But seriously, I think that ideas pool just ran dry.

...wheras DBZ just used the same super evil aliens from not-earth threaten to destroy everything for the bants storyline. for 10 seasons.

not that I'm complaining, your right, was a reet good show I used to play it in the playground with my friends. ahhh the memories...

Digimon lasted as long as it did based purely on it's fan base. I for one absolutely loved the series up until season 4, where it lost the appeal for me.

I decided to watch some season 1 stuff a few months ago... It has not aged well, in my opinion.

Well pretty much what happened was allot of viewers stopped watching at season 3 because without the wounder swan game it completely 100% made seasons 1 & 2 non existent.. Meaning that we were watching a TV show of a TV show..

Season 4 Fox kids wanted nothing to do with because it was awful.

Season 5 (Aired only on Toon Disney) apparently wasn't that bad because to make the main characters augumon digivolve he had to punch his foes in the FACE! (Well I don't know specifically in the face.)

Digimon decided to do a 'second' series with new characters. That's where it went wrong.

No S3 was where it went wrong

i've been watching digimon data squad (series 5) and i love it. i have always loved the tv series but not the games so much. i hadthe origonal ps1 game and it was ok but for me had some wierd digivolutions XD

When i was younger I used tow atch Digimon every time it wa on TV, but now like most cool things its been lost in time and not very many people give a shit about it.
