WTF moments in Fallout 3

When Deathclaws fly into the air.

One time, when I was just walking through the Wasteland, exploring, I heard a weird sound from above me. I looked up, and saw a dead Deatclaw fly by.

When I was out of ammo and fighting the last super mutant in the area, I just started using VATS to punch him.

Then, with just 1 punch, he exploded.

That was fucking awesome.

Quite often, actually, I've seen mines explode in the distance, and found dead bodies near the explosion.
But one time, on my way to Rivet City, I saw a mine go boom, so I went to it, and then I saw this...thing start flapping about in the air, too fast to even partially identify, and then it flapped off to god knows where.
I never figured out what the hell the thing was.

This happened to me. It was scary as hell. The same thing happened with a Behemoth in Wastes and it was bloody terrifying.

I was like level 2, just starting out, wandering around the northern most areas of the map. I see like 2 Radscorpions, and I kill them both. I also see one more enemy blip thinking, "Just another Radscorp-HOLY FUCKING SHIT A DEATHCLAW!!!"
I ran away shooting, did nothing, and it killed me.

Had the same encounter arriving outside Dukov's place, killed that soldier by shooting at an exploding car close to him.

I'm not sure about the first encounter, but I'm fairly certain the second one is done on purpose by the developers - it's in the wiki.

Had an albino giant-radscorp fly by ass-over-kettle five feet in front of my face dead, I turned to look where it came from and I got mobbed by four deathclaws.

One save I had where people randomly would die... As in i'd go back to megaton and, every now and then, I'd find another corpse lying on the ground... Never did find the culprit... But i sure did loot the corpses and dumped them by the bomb :3

I guess it's kind off wrong WTF moment but I wasn't prepared at all for the Tranquility Lane level. One of my best gaming moments ever.

Before the Mothership Zeta DLC was out, I dragged the dead alien all the way to Megaton, and to this day he is still chillin' next to the hobo who needs water (I even put him in sitting position, so it looks awesome) Made my friend say WTF.

I was at my mates house and he did that! I can't think of a WTF moment that someone else hasn't already said... maybe later.

I installed Broken Steel without having the latest patch. The game started with the view you get from your coma bed, the instruments beeping and some noises in the background as if someones walking around, but you couldn't do anything. I was left sitting there thinking WTF, is this the game? You're just lying there concious but completely paralysed? Am I gonna come round soon or something? Do I have to wiggle the mouse in a special way or hit certain keys? WTF is going on? Took me a good 24 hours to work out that I needed a new patch.

Every sentry bot I fought would fly like 30 feet above me, and every npc I talked to would either lose their voice or disappear in mid conversation, it turned into such a glitchy mess I decided to sell it.

a Super Mutant Behemoth attacked me and i only had a pistol...i got a critical hit on it and it went flying.IT WAS STILL ALIVE!to this day i sill wonder what the hell happened to that behemoth.... i just took a teddy bear out of a basket it attacks,i shoot it in the head,critical hit,and it went flying sad part is i never got to loot it.

I climbed over I fence and starting floating upwards, It was awesome, but then I hit a button and fell. I never figured out how to do it again.

I walked over to the Super Duper Mart, still a weak little level 3, and got killed by a raider with the Firelance.

I killed a bear with a hunting rifle. Its body flew up about fifty feet into a nearby destroyed house.

Its head rolled down a nearby hill. A "barrel" roll!

Quick travelled into the middle of a pitched fire fight between Deathclaws, Enclave, and bandits... that all decided I was the biggest threat. Talk about instant splat.
