Not even close man. Pokemon is more popular than ever. Maybe you grew out of it, but there are many more players now than there ever have been.

There have been a suspiciously large amount of 'Pokemon' threads recently.

Also, they went the route of the power rangers. The kids that liked it grew out of it, the gamers that liked it stopped playing after the 17th copy of the same game was released with different colors, and Pokemon isn't exactly the most accessible world to youngsters any more. There's too much crap you have to know from previous installments.

yea theres this thing called "growing up".
Im not saying that Pokemons for kids(though the overall cuteness suggests otherwise). its just that, from what ive seen, most people drop pokemon and start playing tekken after age 14.

I will only ever acknowledge the first generation (in other words, the first 151 that I remember being a huge fan of when I was younger)... and to an extent, the second generation.

I still have my Pokemon Yellow along with my old purple Gameboy Color.

I'm 22 and still play it. I know a lot of people who are older than I am that still play it. And Tekken sucks. Virtua Fighter is the true fighting game.
