And this is why i hate prequals they never begin to make sense and the new actors look nothing like the previous counterparts.The_root_of_all_evil said:![]()
Let's make everyone YOUNG! And then re-write their youth from what they did when they were old.
That's worked SO well before...
By the way, Magneto would have been older than I am at that point. He was born in the 1920s.
So you're admitting that you never really gave the film a chance to begin withThe_root_of_all_evil said:![]()

I think it blew through every chance it ever had when it threw away the entire history of the characters apart from their names and powers.Sutter Cane said:So you're admitting that you never really gave the film a chance to begin with
It's a weaksauce excuse but he has been de-aged a few times in comics I think. Also most mutants live for an inexplicably longer time.The_root_of_all_evil said:By the way, Magneto would have been older than I am at that point. He was born in the 1920s.
Fox has to turn one out every few years or Marvel/Disney gets the rights back. Same with Sony and Spiderman (and I believe the Fantastic Four). Which is supremely disappointing as it means no interactions between mutants in the Avengers movies. No Wolverine or Spiderman becoming New Avengers.Quantum Roberts said:Heres an idea. Lets...not make another X-Men film?
Hey, no one's shown me otherwise - and people into the comics have even told me the same thing.Armitage Shanks said:This is why we can't have nice movies.Woodsey said:I maintain the opinion that Wolverine is the only really interesting X-Man.
Right, so, the plot they used for X-Men 3, the whole Phoenix thing, was improved by ham-fistedly forcing Wolverine in as a central character to it?Woodsey said:Hey, no one's shown me otherwise - and people into the comics have even told me the same thing.
Xavier and Magneto are fairly, but none of the others do it for me at all .
I said he's the most interesting, I didn't say his portrayal was the best.Armitage Shanks said:Right, so, the plot they used for X-Men 3, the whole Phoenix thing, was improved by ham-fistedly forcing Wolverine in as a central character to it?Woodsey said:Hey, no one's shown me otherwise - and people into the comics have even told me the same thing.

...actually I won't bother. If you've seen all four X-Men movies and you still think Wolverine is the best character, and that focusing on him to the exception of all else is a good move, more power to you.
