I do too, but really, they are no where near mature (on L4D at least). Plus, the L4D2 forums on Steam shows how stupid people are. I went there asking if anyone knew the issues for why my L4D2 DEMO wasn't working and they told me to come back when I bought it and didn't pirate it. -.-

I think that you need to learn how to use grammar, and I think that you need to accept that XBL is run by assholes.

I'm sure you could have put your opinion on the "Xbox is more Juvenile ... etc." thread, while I agree with you the fact is your opinion is as good as every other posters, every other poster posting in that thread rather than making a new one about it.

That only proves Sony's smart enough not to give their populace a free headset.
I'm still wagering that the 360 has the more juvenile community.

I was able to play LittleBigPlanet online with 4 complete strangers for about 2 hours, I can't even play online with anybody on Xbox live for more than 10-15 minutes, before they start griefing.

No one cares about the age of the player so long as they stfu. PS3 not giving a free mic acts like a censor meaning only the people who acually know the game and have something worthwhile to say can say it. Also there is no denieing that xbox does have more kids playing it. Fact of life, get over it.

Serious input:

Steam is less juvenile in my opinion, Because its on the PC.
PC's are, inevitably more expensive than a gaming console so a lot of the kids filter down.
Then how do you explain why the World of Warcraft playerbase is arguably one of the most juvenile out of all current operating MMO's? Except maybe Age of Conan...but that is to be expected when you're just a click away from nipples.

Thank you, thank you so much i have never laughed so much at a diagram before. Also was this thread not done the other way around about a day ago?
Ot: I can't comment properly because i don't own an xbox, however when i have used it at a friends house there is loads of abuse, also a number of the multiplayer games on ps3 eg Warhawk and Socom do come with mikes and i have never seen the same level of hate in those communities.

PM wise i've not had anywhere near as many deaththreats or "omfg you noob" posts ... on the PS3 ..

i play PS3 more and i rarely come across trash talkers .. only the occasional douche with a mic on call of duty (what is it about that game?? >.<)

in my opinion the PS3 does have a more mature audience

Lol :p Sounds about right... I use xbl, and I think the community is very juvenile. Earlier today, in fact, I was on microphone with some Americans on Call of duty: Modern Warfare 2, and one of them started to criticise my Kill/Death (I was negative at the time) EVEN THOUGH we were playing demolition. Now, I don't normally respond to criticism in this way, but since I had the top score in the game (I had planted the bomb around 8 times that game, but nobody on my team seemed competent enough to defend it) but in this case I told him to fuck right of. I mean, he had 24kills to 20 deaths and hadn't planted the bomb once. I had got 33 kills and 38 deaths and had planted the bomb 8 times. I thought this was ridiculous, and responded with hostility. He then replied by going LALALALALALALALA at the top of his voice. He sounded about 20 years old. Anybody else have problems like that on the Xbox?

Thats a good point, I played Borderlands for 2-3 hours with some random people on PSN and it was a blast. Every time I played Gears, Mercenaries 2, Resident Evil 5 on Xbox Live the only randoms I played with were jackasses.

I do wish PS3's came with a mic though.

Another thing I've noticed is that in general the 360 exclusive shooters are more deathmatch/free for all focused, while the PS3 exclusive shooters seem to require a hell of alot more teamwork (I mean look at MAG, Socom, Killzone 2, Resistance 2)
