...Perhaps they should bring in a test to gauge whether or not you're mentally balanced enough to be allowed to play games!...
Perhaps they should apply that very same test to fuckin' GUN OWNERSHIP!

Maybe its time to make a change......

Guns don't kill people. The idiots who use them do.
I think the thing with guns is they give people too much power! I know it comes down to the person to blame but really people shouldn't want or need the 2nd amendment! BUT Its a business now soooooo...
And swimming pools kill more people than guns. You want to outlaw swimming pools as well?
How many people each year are intentionally killed using swimming pools?
Why would that matter if someone was going to intentionally kill me and they didn't have access to a gun they would use a knife or any number of objects. Not to mention that guns also save lives as well unfortunately you can't exactly quantify the amount of lives saved by use of gun. Not to mention that Switzerland has basically an assault rifle in every home and gun crime is relatively low. Guns don't kill people people do.

He probably said that the PS3 is better or something, some people get really up tight about that.

Ouch. That isn't going to look good on the evening news.

Y'know, in this case I really can't blame the "games-are-turning-you-kids-into-serial-killers" crowd for jumping to conclusions. The guy is playing a game about shooting people, then he turns around and shoots the guy next to him. You can see why someone, especially someone with little experience in modern video games, could draw a connnection there.

Sure they can save lifes but are you suggesting the good outweighs the bad?

America and Gun Violence
American children are more at risk from firearms than the children of any other industrialized nation. In one year, firearms killed no children in Japan, 19 in Great Britain, 57 in Germany, 109 in France, 153 in Canada, and 5,285 in the United States. (Centers for Disease Control)

Guns in the Wrong Hands
Faulty records enable terrorists, illegal aliens and criminals to purchase guns. Over a two and a half-year period, at least 9,976 convicted felons and other illegal buyers in 46 states obtained guns because of inadequate records. (Broken Records, Americans for Gun Safety Foundation)

http://www.neahin.org/programs/schoolsafety/gunsafety/statistics.htm ^2005

Guns may not kill people but they make it a hell of alot easier!

OT: the guy in this news story was probably unhinged to begin with so how or why was he ever allowed to get a gun?
People should be allowed to protect themselves but do they really need a gun??
