I really want to believe that these are sony fans trying to get the DRM back so the PS4 will sell better. Please let it be so.

Yeah, good luck with that.

Hey, what could we call it if they went and re-reversed their decision? Xbox 360 is already taken. Xbox Flip-Flop? Xbounce? I dunno.

I'm kinda tempted to sign it just for shits and giggles.

Well, what can I say? Some people don't give care about consumer rights.

I've had my say multiple times on what I think of ALL technological advances in gaming nowadays, so I hope they don't succeed for consumer rights sake AND AAA's sake.

XBone II: Re-Boned, with a vengeance. This time, it's personal.

I am signing it, come on, everyone should, a little revenge on Microsoft. Let's all see how many times we can get then to reverse their decision. Quick everyone cancel their pre-orders!!! That was quick for me, cause I would never order one in a million years. Ok that was a bit of a lie, I would buy one, if Microsoft payed me...

Edit: Signed, bring on the console apocalypse and the great video game crash of 2013 - 2014 R.I.P. bloated, greedy, AAA games market.

They must be trolling. That's only rational explanation for this idiocy...
Sony is already far ahead of MS. If it's sabotage, it's rather pointless sabotage at this stage.

I honestly think Microsoft should have stuck to their guns and stayed with their original intention. Would I have bought one? Hell no and especially not at launch. But I would have at least been curious to see how it turned out, if it would have been as bad as we feared, or if some potential was actually there. But oh well, i think those petitions are hilarious (between the two at time of writing less than 800 people signed) and i love how people like me are blamed rather than Microsoft. I decided it was not for me, i never asked for a change XD

pretty much in the exact same frame of mind as me. never once when I spoke out against their policies did I say "If they change it, I'll buy it".. I don't want a neutered Xbox One. I didn't want an Xbox One. Microsoft showed us their hand and that hand, to me, said "We don't want you buying this", so I'm obliging them that. Is it better without DRM? probably. I'm a lot more comfortable potentially buying it in the future then I was, but they lost me from the getgo as an earlier adopter.

About three weeks and only 400 signitures, I doubt its going to lead to anything.
You say that, but knowing Microsoft they're going to turn around and go 'see! We told you people wanted this!' and bring it all back :p

How do you embed a video?
Put "youtube=video code" in these []. Video code is the series of symbols in the link after v=.

You can press quote to see how I did it (works with everything else as well, handy when you forget how to do something).

So the first petition needs 10k signatures, but the second one only needs 500? If the creators are able to set the required number of signatures then these people really are stupid.

1)Because 500 signatures is not a number MS will listen to

2)Change.org isn't affiliated with MS and thus the petitions made there carry zero weight.

I mean really, not even 10k signatures would be enough to convince MS at this point; it's a drop in the sales bucket. These people are just hopeful, misinformed rubes of the exact type MS was hoping were in enough abundance to sit back and let the Xbone happen.

Has anyone actually read the comments?

"I love restrictions. I want always online DRM. I want the game rental business to become obsolete. I don't want to let my friends borrow games, because fuck them. All I care about is my god damn new age console that'll blow everything else out of the water! Fuck the PS4 and fuck those Sony guys for catering to fans who care about their gaming experience. Fuck PC, that shit is stupid. Steam? Fuck that shit. They never have sales or anything. It's not as affordable as buying my games from the XBL marketplace. I love Microsoft and their business practices will be the best forever. Fuck yes. <3 Xbox"

I don't know what I prefer, the obvious piss-take comments or the frighteningly sincere ones, like

"As a father and a true gamer, I was really looking forward to the awesome features that were originally planned on the Xbox One. I have three xbox 360 consoles right now and i plan on buying three Xbox One consoles. The fact that I would be able to access my game library on any Xbox One console would've been a great feature for my kids and I. No more searching for discs around the house. DRM is good for the industry and i support it. Please bring back the awesome features..."

Listen Rockefeller, if you can afford three Xbones you have no right to complain about anything.

We want access to play our games on any Xbox One console.
You mean what I've been doing for years by taking my easily removable X360 hard drive round to my friend's house to put in their console?

We want family game sharing.
You mean the glorified demos [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/9.819460-Poll-Heartbroken-Microsoft-Employee-Explains-How-Family-Sharing-Would-Have-Worked]?

We want a console of the future, not an Xbox 360 on steroids.
I can't even be bothered to look for the Jimquisition on progress for progress' sake.

This is ridiculous, let's pray it's signers are trolls.

This has got to be a joke. How else could anyone consider talking about adding DRM?

If they're not joking, they're mad, and I hope they get their wish so their love object falls like a tonne of bricks.
