Agreed.VanQ said:It's like, whenever a company does something stupid that pisses us off, the bleeding hearts come crawling out into the light and feel the need to desperately defend the awful practices of big companies that should know better by now.
I also find the assertion that people are "entitled" whenever they complain about something utterly ridiculous.
Um, these consoles cost hundreds of dollars on their own. We are not obligated to buy them. These are expensive machines. What are the defenders of the Xbone (or of any console, for that matter) saying that people who dislike it should do, exactly? Spend all this money on a machine they don't want or don't like? Be really nice and not raise any complaints about the device so they don't hurt Microsoft's feelings? Are they saying everyone is obligated to like it? No offence, but what kind of universe are these people living in?
If a customer pays a whole lot of money for something, yes, they are absolutely entitled to complain about it, and consumers are absolutely, 100% entitled to voice their opinion on products and services and on whether or not they would recommend them.
Maybe some people would like to live in a world where nobody has any standards and criticism is banned, but I sure wouldn't.
