(Yep, it's that time again) Wolverine Movie: Who will go see it? What do you think of the trailers?

To me, the Sabretooth issue is much the same as making the Joker the killer of Bruce's parents in the 89 Batman flick, done to make the character seem more relevant. Whatever. It seems like they're keeping pretty close to the "Origin" story in most other aspects, and the film looks pretty solid from the trailers. I think the bigger issue here should be what to think of how Deadpool is being portrayed. I know the Baraka style claws are really messing with people and the whole cyclops power thing....thats a definite yikes.

I sincerely doubt it, but that would be flippin awesome. It would be dope if Blind Al made a cameo. That would be sweet.

But the reason deadpool be awesome is the fact that he breaks the fourth wall. And talks to his speachbubbles.

No, the reason Deadpool is awesome is because he's a psychopath, but he's knows it, and enjoys it. He revels in his lunacy, which is why he's able to break the fourth wall, or Shoryuken Kitty Pryde, and we can all laugh about it.

I'll see it at the movies only because my sound teacher recorded the sound in it. But that's most likely it. He told me of a few cool shots in it and some details that got me a tad interested in it.

I just couldn't laugh hard enough when he shoryukened Kitty Pryde. I just couldn't.

It looks like they've mucked Deadpool up. And Sabretooth shouldnt be Wolverines brother. But If they follow the ORIGIN story, It could be okay. I guess I'll see it. But I never saw the whole appeal of Gambit. I'd rather see Nightcrawler again. Or maybe Cable.

To all rationally minded Escapist's, this movie is BAAAAAD! A 4/10 is generous....

There's more butchery here within the script, character bio's/development, pacing, dialogue (oh god the dialogue!), than Logan or Sabretooth could ever dish out!

Deadpool fans will NOT be happy, Gambit fans will be mildly curious/amused, even pushing aside prior comic history/knowledge this pile of celluloid crap brakes most basic rules of filmaking, nearly every line uttered is macho, cliched, posturing tripe. The movie signposts, nay...TELEGRAPHS every event coming your way.

Leave your brain at home? no..take your brain out, stomp on it till it resembles cerebral custard, and mail it to Gavin Hood and David Benioff, with a note that simply reads "You...did...this"

I liked the trailers and I'll go see it, I wonder If they'll do something like that for other characters, it would certainly be interesting to learn of the professor's past.

Although judging from the trailers I doubt this movie will win any awards I still want to go see it. It does look like it will be fun and entertaining (if mildly retarded).
