They aren't 'not facing their sexuality' they are correcting their body to match their mind rather than choosing to live with that mismatch, as I said in my original post.

I can see how this will go though, no matter what i say, so long as I continue disagreeing with you, i will somehow be bigoted, old fashioned and offensive. You will want so desperately to find my post offensive you will continue to misread and misinterpret whatever I say so that it fits your preferred view.

As I said in the first place, the anger and aggression that transsexuals face is not due to the dictionary needing to be updated to fit your new opinion of what the word means. It is due to a small group of transsexuals who chose to lie and caused a major backlash that has negatively impacted the entire group.

I'm not saying simply BEING transsexual is bad. I'm not saying that alternate sexualities are bad. I'm not saying that words don't change in meaning over long periods of time. I am saying that a lot of the anger revolving around the issue comes from a few dishonest people, and not from somebody using the word gender when you would prefer them to use the word sex.

I love how you -snip- my post then make counterarguments that tie into my post in only the loosest sense.

I said before that sexuality is complex, getting into every single possibility would be tediously long and i doubt you would even read it given that your behavior seems to be rather hasty and quick to judge.

I'll try to demonstrate this in a more gamer related way, maybe you can see it more neturally that way.

On Tales of Symphonia, there are two groups; Half elves, and Humans.

A subgroup of Half elves, the Desians, who are all half elves abused the Humans.

Humans who were abused by the Desians decided that Half elves are all evil. When they begin to flourish and defeated the Desians, they decided to punish all Half elves. Back to reality.

A few members of the group of transsexuals abused the trust of non-transsexuals. They over-reacted and became immediately suspicious of and hateful towards transsexuals. Transsexuals feel like they are the target of unwarranted abuse, and get defensive. Then some individuals decide they have to police everyone else over exact word usage. That stupid school assembly ruined the word 'special' when trying to be sensitive about handicaps, we don't need more words to turn into automatic insults.
