By body armor I hope you mean a full suit of armor...or else your boned if you get hit with a spear or sword...the impact will knock you down at the least.

Great, I surrounded... On a narrow strip of land with falls into spiky rocks on both the left, the right & behind me... or not, either way works.

For Equipment:
A Mark 48 Squad Automatic Weapon with three boxes of AP rounds and Black, light-weight, custom-made composite full-body armor with a white, skull-like mask to make me a walking tank. A quick mode of transport. But to be quiet honest the only vehicle I can safely operate is a bicicle. Still that should be enough, if the won't trow spears.
Seriously I don't think that one man can win against 300 spartanians even with modern technology. Unless there is a big distance, or you have the literal high ground, or you're in a well build tank.
Owh sure you can kill a bunch, but it takes only one of them to kill you.
So I'll take my bicicle and a smokebomb/flashgrenade, and get the hell out.
Funny to see that technology still has only a few means to fight well-trained men.
