Ever play a game good or bad that had a piss poor final boss? If so which game was it

As for me I remember playing Bioshock killing the final boss using only my shotgun it was so lame. Then Bioshock 2 game along and it didn?t even have a final boss.

Another game I remember was Mass effect's final boss which was nothing more then a metal frog jumping up the walls BUT Mass effect 2 redeemed itself with an epic final boss.

oh and assassins creed final boss was also like this, all you had to do was walk up to him stab him then repeat.

Bioshock's final boss's character was what I found disappointing.

Mobsters. Fontaine felt like a two-bit thug compared to Andrew Ryan - it annoyed me.

And I actually reverse my opinions on the ME bosses. The first game's boss was suitably epic, and worked well. The second one looked stupid, and I couldn't take the fucking thing seriously.

Agreed. Nearly all the boss battles were like that though. A good game let down by the boss battles is all.

Oblivion. You don't fight the final boss at all. It's all cutsceney and lame.

Saints Row 2 was pathetic. Great all around, but I'm not even sure why they bothered. He had very little health and was armed with a pistol while you could be walking around with an RPG, an Assualt Rifle with a grenade launcher, A 50. Pistol, and he is there with little pew pew toy...

Went down in a single shot, and the enemies before him were harder!

Calumon: LittleBIGPlanet could have been much harder...

I wanna say FFXIII actually...i just think the design of the boss[es] were really poor, sure the graphics made them look hella pretty but... i dunno, i was a bit let down:/ anyone else agree?

When you play as the Shainto Dojo in Bushido Blade 2, the real final boss is a woman who just sits there and waits for you to either leave her live or kill her. Whihc is pretty bad considering the guy before her pretty much warps a distance away from you anytime you get into attack, so much to the point that after a while, he warps right behind you and pretty much stabs you through.

Gears of War 2, I just beat it with my fiance like 3-4 days ago, we were both incredibly disappointed.

At fable 2, I though the end was funny, I just shot him in the face, and when you think about it; when enemies are giving long speeches, why do we let them talk? Id do exactly what what happened there.

Fable 2, Borderlands, and Oblivion. Also Saints Row 2 was a great game, but had a piss poor boss.
I still defend Fallout 3 and both Bioshocks!

Resident evil 4

Considering the other ones in this game the final boss, Sadler came off as kinda boring and very easy.
he looks like the first boss from zelda ocarina of time and the fight is just about the same.

Flipping Salazar was awesome! He pops out of a meat flower and tries to eat you

The Mass Effect one wasn't that epic, but at least it could be a bit hard to beat (if played on INSANE) whilst the Mass Effect 2 was pretty epic, but so damned easy it's not even fun (even when played on INSANE) since you just had to cover when it attacked (pretty obvious attack too) then hit it with whatever you had ammo for, repeat, repeat, kill some collectors, pick up ammo, repeat and then you've won. And if played on normal or below you can kill it with 2-3 hits with Cain. =.="
