Ever play a game good or bad that had a piss poor final boss? If so which game was it

As for me I remember playing Bioshock killing the final boss using only my shotgun it was so lame. Then Bioshock 2 game along and it didn?t even have a final boss.

Another game I remember was Mass effect's final boss which was nothing more then a metal frog jumping up the walls BUT Mass effect 2 redeemed itself with an epic final boss.
I agree about the Bioshock 1 boss being completely stupid, but the fact that a game doesnt have a boss doesnt mean its a bad boss (there is no boss...). I found the Bioshock 2 ending to be a lot better and engaging than the first.

ME1 final boss was also cool, fighting on all levels. Personal and the entire fleet bombarding the big meanie. ME2 finale was better though, that I will agree to.

Borderlands. I don't think it even had any attacks. It was the most pathetic boss battle I have ever fought.

Spiderman web of shadows. It was a freaking multi headed monster and I beat it on my first try without even learning its pattern all that well.

Resident evil 4

Considering the other bosses in this game the final boss, Sadler came off as kinda boring and very easy.
shoot da eye ONCE, stab da face, rinse, repeat.

Flipping Salazar was awesome! He pops out of a meat flower and tries to eat you
That game had some of the best bosses I've seen. When you think about it, they did really well to vary that many bosses in a zombie game; pretty much every boss was interesting and different(ish) from the others.

I'm gonna go with Metroid Prime 2. It wasn't that easy to beat, but when you consider how unbelieveably irritatingly difficult the 2nd last boss was, it was quite disappointing.

Who the hell told everyone that Lucien in Fable 2 was a final boss? He's not a boss, he's simply the conclusion to the story. A game doesn't NEED a final boss!

I've yet to have a really bad final boss battle, but I remember being a little disappointed with Kingdom Heart's final boss, World of Chaos. It was a little bit generic and one-winged-angel-esque for my liking. The fight itself was great - from a gameplay perspective, awesome - but from a purely aesthetic viewpoint, it was a giant pink blob monster with lots of toothy faces, with the top half of the Big Bad glued to it. Kirby has had more interesting final boss designs!

Dead Space had one of the easiest boss i have ever beaten.
Amen.

Both Super Mario Galaxy titles have piss-poor final bosses, especially considering you've fought them twice before, except they were slightly easier then.

Transformers: War For Cybertron had just a "meh" boss.
Omega Supreme was easy and Trypticon was not what I expected in a level that's supposed to mirror the intro. I want a giant megatron or maybe just Megatron vs Optimus.

FFVII's final boss was too easy. You could not attack at all and still win.

The FF13 boss was a little bit wierd looking, I didn't like the design of some of the bosses in that game. Tales of Symphonia also had a disapointing boss, I killed him within 30 seconds with absolutly no challange.

BTW for Fable 2 I always thought the giant triangle thingy was the "final boss" and Lucian was just the conclusion to the story.

In my personal experience, the final boss from Final Fantasy 10. My friend had done the little...calmlands arena thing through to completion before he ever fought the last guy.
Did not get a single attack off. Not one; my friend killed the last boss in one round. I was so annoyed.

Saints Row 2 was pathetic. Great all around, but I'm not even sure why they bothered. He had very little health and was armed with a pistol while you could be walking around with an RPG, an Assualt Rifle with a grenade launcher, A 50. Pistol, and he is there with little pew pew toy...

Went down in a single shot, and the enemies before him were harder!

Calumon: LittleBIGPlanet could have been much harder...
To be fair to that guy though, he's the leader of Ultor, he's not likely to be a trained guard/murderer like basically every other character in the series.

OT: The lambent Brumak from Gears of War 2. I don't think it's possible to lose that fight. Also, the final guy in Battlefield: Bad Company 2. He takes one pistol shot in a moment meant to be like CoD4's ending, but kinda failed.

Your right game doesn't need to have one but some people like myself like games that do have em

Lost Planet 2:
Shoot the Over G until he scabs (in like 2 hits... but why? Wouldn't the bullets just sink into him?) and then attach a GPS on him by hand (when a simple touch could kill you). And when that's done, you shoot not at him, but at this ice looking thing so a satellite can fall on him... epic in a sense, but not even a 5 minute fight

Mirror's Edge. One jump to the helicopter and he's dead. I did harder things midgame!
