RTS for me (as long as it's PC). There's so many things that can happen in a battle that there's no way for it to get boring for me :3
'RPGs'. Any other choice seem severly limiting.
The term RPG can be levelled at so many different types of game that it seems silly not to choose that.
You get -
FPS games such as Bethesda styled games, Deus Ex, Bioshock, Stalker.
Action Adventure games like BioWare games, Alpha Protocol and so forth.
JRPGs of which there are a greatly differing amounts of styles and gameplay methods
CRPGs where we can relive our old isometric memories of yesteryear with games like Fallout, Arcanum and so much more.
Yeah. I may dislike the term 'Role-Playing Game' (mostly because of the aforementioned ridiculous amount of variety) but goddamn can you get some entertaining games under that banner.

RPG, would that also include games with RPG elements? Dawn of War II? The Dynasty Warriors series?

No ending makes it so the game, for me, lasts and lasts. I've been playing WoW for 6 years, because there's no end to the content, experiences. I played through countless RPGs, and once I was through with the story became bored, and moved on. Though I kind of wish I could entertain myself, like my younger brother does, with Fallout3 and Metro 2033 on countless play throughs.

By time i complete Final Fantasy 13, 14 15 and 16 will probably have been released.
Besides, RPGs are fun as shit and last forever. Seems the most suitable choice.
