Whilst there are many games I dislike, that is no reason to wipe them.

The only exception would be one game that has caused real harm to the industry in general, mostly because it was misguidely taken by the media as a flag for "why games are wrong".

So, in that spirit: Rapelay

Hey hey hey, remember, they have little to no choice in this...I mean it's the mother f*cking COSMIC OWL
Yeah, but they could at least put some thought or reasoning in to a response that would actually use the situation to improve gaming as a whole, it's image, or just a specific game. And no, getting rid of Call of Duty or Halo would do none of those things, because those are the games that rest in the area between hardcore and casual gaming that are easing new players into the gaming culture. And Rapelay has never even been sold in any country other than Japan and was out for 3 years before anyone started to care, so get over it, it doesn't affect you.
Found out there is an interactive dvd (I guess you can call it a game) where you capture a girl, and do diffrent things to her so she gets Stockholm syndrome and thinks she loves you. Do such great things as.

Rapeing
Beating
Mental Games
Ect

you wouldn't get rid of that?

:D

lol, just showing an example of something someone may want to get rid of.
No I wouldn't get rid of it. There's no point. Getting rid of one piece of rape porn out of the thousands in existence wouldn't benefit anyone.
Alright, alright, alright

your correct...but what about...it that must not be named...

People! People!

We can't get rid of CoD. For all it may irritate us, CoD has done a singular service to humanity. People can no longer pretend that Halo is the best FPS series ever made. And CoD is too uninspired and formulaic to claim that with a straight face.

Lol, ET might be a good game to get rid of. I can't imagine what the industry would be like if the crash had never happened, maybe it would have grown a lot farther than it has by now. Of course, Nintendo might not be as prominent as it is today, and that would make me sad.

Any one game? Checkers. Man is checkers boring.

Edit: I'm dumb, OP specified video game so I can't be cute. Alright then, I pick Armored Core: For Answer. What the hell was that game's angle? To be weird and impossible?

I would elect Spore, but that game taught me a valuable lesson: Nothing good ever came out of people, this motto extends to all people, forever.

On a brighter note a game that should not exist at all is Half Life 2 Episode 1, I mean, what was the damn point? Its just artificial lengthening that adds nothing to the story in any way. Your train crashes for no reason, you go find another one, pick up where the last train left off. Nothing has been gained and even the enemies you killed would have died in an explosion anyway. Episode 2 on the other hand, rocks.

World of Warcraft.

It's not that it's a bad game, it's just that it never had an original idea and it's the 1000-pound gorilla in the room making it impossible for anyone to compete. As long as WoW is on top there's very little room in the market for another game in the same genre.

World of Warcraft.

Don't get me wrong, it's a great game from what I've played but I've lost too many friends to it.

Kingdom Hearts.
For raping one of my favourite franchises by taking everything out of context and twisting a good amount of the details. Shame on you, Square Enix. Shame on you.
I actually had a massive nostalgia rush from that game.
The twisting stuff I actually found fun.

Starfox: Adventures. Killing off that weird blue fox... thing and that annoying baby dinosaur would be a big help to the gaming community.

Either that, or Sonic 2006. For obvious reasons.
