I dont let the water run, i dont throw out stuff but if its expired then yes i throw out, my main money consument is gaming since i dont have special needs for food and i dont pay rents (wuhu) so im kinda cheapish,while not cheapish on other perspectives

I hate to sound like a jerk, but if you really have a problem with it, just buy your own shampoo/ketchup/toothpaste. Then label them so everyone knows they are your's. Then, you can throw them away whenever you want. Problem solved.

Now i did actually consider this. It's a good idea, except i think i would give off this kind of impression...

I don't consider it straining to get the last of the toothpaste out of the tube onto my toothbrush. Perhaps I have manly hands?

As for bottles of anything, condiments, shampoo etc. I just turn them upside-down. Then I don't have to shake anything. In fact, they sell bottles meant to be upside-down now.

But yeah, I use everything. I paid for it. And I'm not all that bothered by it.

Nothing wrong with squeezing everything out of something you bought. I wouldn't really say that it makes you cheap but more of a principle with people. Like myself I wouldn't mind throwing it away but why not try and get most of it out before you just throw it away? No real harm in trying to get the most from the product.

I'm pretty cheap, but there are some things that you should never skimp on. Toilet paper and laundry detergent come to mind. Sometimes, it's worth paying extra to have a level of quality.

There's a difference between being cheap and trying to save money, and what you've described is the latter. I don't understand why you would even throw something away when it only started getting low; are you too good to use the last of the toothpaste or something?
