I hate the concept of genres. But without getting any more deeper to that subject...

Rap / Triphop / Hip Hop.

I also listen to a lot of different genres, from classical to progressive rock. I'm not one dimensioned like that. Hip Hop is my long-lived and everlasting love though.

Uhh, videogame soundtracks? The RE4 credits song is just painfully sad. I regrettably use the term 'indie' to describe my overall taste. It's not that I go searching for indie bands, it just so happens that when I like a song it more often than not belongs to that genre.

OT: Alt. rock and techno. Gotta love Scooter. SOME metal (bless you iron maiden) and can't go wrong with rock, but Genesis (prior to their pop whore stage) is amazing, MGMT, Passion Pit, Gorillaz is fan-fucking-tastic, and if anyones heard Abney Parks stuff, you can guess what genre i'm into.

This might sound a bit strange, but I happily listen to any music without words in it. Probably the best way of explaining this is that I almost exclusively listen to music while working, so with no words it doesn't distract me. I genuinely find words in music irritating.
