Hiya escapists.

Edit: I've been made aware that what I'm thinking of isn't really condiments, so please take 'condiment' to mean 'stuff you put on slices of bread'.

So I was just reminded that, as a child, I use to eat bread with cucumber and mayonnaise. Nowadays, however, I just eat cheese.
I suddenly got a craving for the fresh feel of the cucumber combined with the smooth moist mayonnaise, and I think I might try to revive my old eating habit.

That said, it also got me to wonder:
What would you guys put on this shit?

It's not like you can eat it plain, so tell me: When it's time to ingest your slices of otherwise dry, baked flour; what condiments do you apply to make that stuff not taste and feel like wallpaper paste?

Butter, marmalade, jam, houmous, baked beans, cheese.

Not all at the same time, obviously.

A Hermit's Cave
Butter, mayonnaise, honey, even sugar, cheese, Worcester sauce, pâté & nutella.

Clearly, some combinations better than others, but pâté (preferably duck) & cheese on toast with Worcester sauce is one of the tastiest things.

Yes I can. I do it all the time!

Anywayz, when I DO put some stuff in between two slices, it's usually Nutella or Strawberry jam

The fact that the image is blocked on my work computer (Damn you WebWasher! Damn you to hell!) and your choice of wording (shit) leads me to want to answer "a poop scoop and a plastic bag, freak nasty!"... or sprinkles... sprinkles go with everything.

Love me some spicy brown mustard (if I'm making a sammich). Otherwise, strawberry preserves are my go to on toast.

Sadly for me I read the sentence too fast and I thought you asked "what is wrong with this shit" so I was staring at the picture for about 5 minutes looking for something.

OT: peanut butter god I love peanut butter sandwiches, or I'll toast it and make buttered toast which is also good.

A sandwich filling isn't called a "condiment". "Condiments" are stuff like ketchup, mustard, hot sauce, vinegar, relish, etc.

As for sandwich fillings/toast toppings, cheese and Branston Pickle (Yahtzee's favourite).
If you did mean condiments, then HP Brown Sauce is just great :) (I think the US equivalent is... steak sauce? Could be wrong.).

Hummus, most likely. Although there's this awesome chilli/lime mayonnaise you can get at the moment that goes surprisingly well on toast

Huh. I'm guessing it's because of 4chan.

You sick, sick person!
The only part of the bread that's legal to eat plain is the end.

[sub]Somehow, I couldn't find a single image of that on google, so I had to photoshop a loaf of bread.[/sub]

It is incorrect that you can not eat it straight. I have eaten a whole French bread stick (as in the ones that are like 60cm long) a few times in my past, dry. I obviously like the taste of bread itself so I like proper good bread with just butter. Dollop Cream and Jam is pretty good if you are out for something sweet, Curried Eggs is one of my favourites with some lettuce maybe if I'm out for something different. Damper kicks more ass than normal breads though. Seriously make some, it's cheap and easy.
