I don't use a Desk, I just recline on the floor. Aside from that, I have one laptop on a stool for ease of typing, a fan to keep me cool, and a 360 within arms length. I also have a bottle of water, iron bru, port and whisky. I also have a flask of vodka somewhere...Yeah, I either horde expensive booze, or I need to go to AA meetings...

I don't have a picture, but at the moment on my desk, there is my laptop, a Joker mug full of pens and pencils, a New York Rangers hockey puck I got from a friend for graduating university, a small stuffed lion I called "Detroit" and my Detroit redwings mouse mat. On the second tier (the ledge what you pull out and there is usually a keyboard) I have a book called Molecular symmetry and group theory by Alan Vincent, my blackberry, scientific calculator and a booklet which is my final year thesis on Protein-protein interactions: The influence of mutations and phosphorylation on ternary complex factor Elk-1 recruitment by serum response factor, on the bottom shelf there are two leather cases of DVD's and text books on Chemistry, biochemistry and molecular biology as well as a limited edition Dilbert book my parents got me for christmas.

I realise that it would have been better if I just posted a picture, but I don't have a camera with me.

My busy Desktop.

It sort of speaks for itself, a lived in nest.

Pity I just moved my Halo poster and amazing cactus collection. >:
In this picture... A plant, piles of folders containing work I should be doing, HTC Sensation, iPod Nano, DMX CDs, very empty purse, non-functional lamp, art supplies (badass tablet, graphite pencils, mechanical pencils), 2DS Lites (I need to trade pokemon to myself >_>), collection of weird pencils and family pictures & two headsets neither of which are plugged in.

This made me chuckle. It's very organised for having so much... there.

All right. Although your definition of messy is really quite strange.

What a very shaky picture.

I just want a pic for the books! =P

And here's mine. Sorry about crappy quality, but yes that is a loo roll smack in the middle behind a pair of lab-specs. I took it with the rubbishy webcam from my netbook, but you can still make out the mess of wires behind the tower (two monitors, speakers, two XHD's etc... joy).

I managed to find my parents old camera so lets see if this actually works

If these don't work, I am really sorry about that, I don't like photobucket that much.

my desk is an unmade bed, a laptop, a pile of cds and me. (clothing may vary or be non-existent)
i has no pics.
Don't be such a tease.
what its true...
also i do have a picture (taken by a freind)(not on my computer) where i was sleeping like that but i had a laptop on my face with a guitar and amp covering my 'bad parts' and loads of tab sheets every where...

EDIT: i forgot to mention the guitar in the previous post... yes i sleep with a guitar shut up... your probably just jealous that i can play a really slow version of dueling banjos in my sleep! hmph!
you sleep with a guitar?
thats epic.
and if your a girl, even hotter than normal (which im guessing is so because your name has 'chan' in it, which is a feminine suffix (i watch naruto...) also, no guy would put an amp on his balls.

mine is fairly normal, fuckload of DVDs and some spare change next to a can of coke.

Don't be shy now, fellow forum-frequenters, show off your horribly lit man-caves! I'm sure yours are much more interesting than mine.
Pack of Pall Mall, good smokes.
I enjoy them immensely. Plus they are cheaper than everything else and being a student I can't afford them fancy smokes.

I aim to please! And yes, that Organic chemistry book got me through 3 years of organic chemistry I was horrified when at one point my mother used the book as a door stop. I mean, she could have used the Atkins/De Paula Physical chemistry book instead...

laptop has thrown my world into chaos, running both systems in parallel has caused my desk to be a labyrinth of cables, mice and keyboards.
thankfully the summer holiday means at least I don't have books/work/pens everywhere

Good grief, how barbaric! Yes, should've used that phys-chem book instead, especially considering how little use it otherwise would've been (in my case, at least). Anyway, hasn't she got a Rubber Book for that?!

Dammit, the freezer covers up this little shelf thing that's full of stuff. When I say full, I mean it.

Is that... Is that a tower of biblical proportions, made of Läkerol-boxes? If it is I extend my virtual hand to yours in congratulations of your service to humanity.
